Clip of the day:
Primary Day: Three Key Races
South Carolina District 1 - First-term Republican Rep. Nancy Mace is facing a Trump-backed primary challenger in the highly diverse 1st district of South Carolina. While Mace did not vote for impeachment, she drew the ire of Trump following critical comments surrounding the events of January 6th.
South Carolina District 7 - Five-term Republican Rep. Tom Rice was one of the 10 Republicans to cross party lines and vote to impeach President Trump. This drew a well-funded Trump-backed primary challenger in the staunchly conservative 7th district of South Carolina.
Nevada Senate - Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto is one of the most vulnerable Senators up for reelection in November. The Republican primary to determine her opponent was thought to be a ‘done deal’ with Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell backing Adam Laxalt as the presumptive nominee. Late in the race, Sam Brown - a retired Army captain and Purple Heart recipient - surged in the polls making the race a dead heat. Fun fact: Adam Laxalt was the roommate of Ron DeSantis in the Navy.

Did I miss something in your list of top News stories?...you did not mention the most important election race of the day. Texas 34th Congressional district and special election today. Rising star Mayra Flores could pull off a stunner today and flip a dominant Hispanic and Democrat district to red.
I wanted to say thank you for the excellent show notes that you send out each day.
The article by Ryan Grim about Meltdowns Have Brought Progressive Advocacy Groups to a Standtill is one of the most fascinating I've read in a long time. The left is literally eating its own and you can feel the pain he is going through writing it. A quick look at his twitter account discovered this gem today: https://twitter.com/ryangrim/status/1537161164307714049?cxt=HHwWgsCyken7i9UqAAAA
How can our society be so upside down that this is described as "yeah, we need to be clear how toxic this is"? The silver lining is that with this kind of a viewpoint the left will continue to cannibalize each other over trivial matters instead of focusing on the issues where they could cause the most harm.
