Biden’s Trip To The Middle East
President Biden’s team is subtly downplaying expectations for his controversial meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia while on his Middle Eastern trip this week. On the campaign trail, Biden promised to make Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman a “pariah” after the state-sanctioned killing of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Washington Post has a great op-ed and asks the right question:
So why is President Biden now going to Jiddah on bended knee to shake the “pariah’s” bloodstained hand? Once again, he is seeking votes.
Ohio
The IndyStar published a disturbing one-source story of a 10-year-old Ohio girl who was raped. The story alleged that according to state law, the girl was not allowed to have an abortion because she was beyond 6 weeks pregnant and must go across state lines to have the procedure. From AOC to President Biden, Democrats jumped on this story bashing Republicans and the SCOTUS ruling on Roe. After further examination, the story appears to be fabricated.
Despite the lack of evidence, The Washington Post said “the story has acquired the status of a ‘fact’ no matter its provenance.” Yikes.
Progressive group to press Biden not to run in 2024
This is from Politico:
A left-wing group that worked in 2020 to persuade progressives to support President Joe Biden is now preparing to turn on him, organizers told POLITICO, with plans to launch a public pressure campaign to block his renomination in 2024.
The effort, by RootsAction.org, is the latest sign of unrest among Democrats about Biden, whose job approval rating has cratered during a punishing midterm election year. RootsAction, with an email list of about 1.2 million people in the United States, said it plans to spend six figures on a “#DontRunJoe” campaign, with digital ads starting in early nominating states on Nov. 9, one day after the midterm elections.

Market snapshot:
I don't like Herschel Walker as a Senate candidate.
This is a free Warnock campaign ad masquerading as journalism, but then the WaPo is a collection of activists masquerading as journalists.
"lies and stunning hypocrisy. That kind of stuff doesn’t necessarily trouble GOP voters in the least, given their continued devotion to Donald Trump"
Mr. Robinson opens with an editorial comment that GOP voters = Trumpers. He may actually believe that lie.
"That kind of stuff" bothers a lot of GOP voters, as evidenced by Trump's continuously dwindling influence.
Yes, Walker is a deeply flawed man and I am not sure I will vote for him, I didn't in the primary.
The end of the article is a punchline. Up against a fool Warnock needs Trump to do something stupid for him to win.
It's basically what Bernie Sanders said is a losing campaign slogan, We can't do much, but we're not Republican.
