Attacked In Amsterdam
Dozens of Israeli soccer fans were chased down and physically beaten in the streets of Amsterdam following a professional soccer match.
Details: Dutch riot police were forced to intervene when violent Arab mobs targeted and pursued Israeli soccer fans into restaurants, hotels, and other businesses after the game was over. Five people were hospitalized and 62 were arrested as taunting onlookers waved the Palestinian flag. The Israeli government is scrambling planes to the region to evacuate Israeli citizens who are afraid to leave their hotel rooms.
King of The Netherlands: “We failed the Jews in World War II, last night we failed them again.”
The Beautiful Blame Game
The backbiting, finger-pointing, and Monday morning quarterbacking has reached a fever pitch inside the White House with Biden and Harris privately blaming each other for Tuesday’s spectacular loss.
Biden’s case: The Biden team points to Harris’s decision to incorporate the Biden-loathed Obama team into a humming reelection machine that was raising big dollars and had expansive campaign infrastructure in place. Furthermore, the White House grew resentful that Harris increasingly ran as an independent candidate, distancing herself from President Biden and refusing to incorporate him on the campaign trail. Here’s an anonymous team Biden quote:
"How did you spend $1 billion and not win? What the f***?"
Harris case: The Harris team blames Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti for choosing to push Biden to run again at 80 years old with clear symptoms of cognitive decline. Furthermore, the Harris team feels deceived by the White House’s framing of the race as a 50/50 toss-up before her three-and-a-half-month campaign kicked into gear. Here’s an anonymous team Harris quote:
"The 107-day Harris campaign was nearly flawless. The Biden campaign that preceded it was the opposite."
🚨 While the Axios story from Alex Thompson is worth reading, the most notable detail is how Harris’s nonchalant reaction to losing infuriated many on her staff. Kamala Harris said on Thursday night, "Yeah, this sucks....We all just speak truth, why don't we, right? There's also so much good that has come of this."
Here’s the reaction from staff:
The message didn't resonate with some Harris staffers: "It was detached from the reality of what happened," one said. "We are told the fate of democracy is at stake, and then the message was, 'We'll get them next time.' "

Trump to Renew ‘Maximum Pressure’ Campaign Against Iran
President-elect Donald Trump plans to drastically increase sanctions on Iran and throttle its oil sales as part of an aggressive strategy to undercut Tehran’s support of violent Mideast proxies and its nuclear program, according to people briefed on his early plans.
Trump took a dim view of Iran during his first term, aborting a six-nation agreement with Tehran—known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action—that sought to curb Iran’s nuclear-weapons work. He also imposed what was described as a “maximum pressure” strategy in hopes Iran would abandon ambitions for a nuclear weapon, stop funding and training what the U.S. considers terrorist groups and improve its human-rights record.
But when he takes office on Jan. 20, Trump’s approach to Iran is likely to be colored by the knowledge that its agents tried to assassinate him and former top national-security aides after they left office, former Trump officials said. Iran is believed to be seeking revenge for a 2020 U.S. drone strike that killed Qassem Soleimani, head of Iran’s covert paramilitary operations.

Market snapshot:
I think there is another perspective that backs advice for the Democrats and in fact any presidential candidate… it is authenticity vs inauthenticity. The voters, especially younger people, have significant bullshit detectors. You might be an SOB from the historical standards of the model presidential candidate but if you just let the people know who you really are in a situation where your opponents are all plastic b-grade actors on the stage, you will get their vote.
I think this is why Harris lost. With all the talk to Trump’s character and his lies (mostly just twaddle and Trumpism BS), Harris’s character assessment crashed because with every opportunity she had to step out of the shadow of Biden and tell us who she really is, she instead reminded the electorate that she wanted to stay an enigma where she could shape-shift to remain popular.
It terms of lying, Harris told the biggest political lie of all times, that she is something else other than who she really is. That is really why she lost.
And this mistake can be applied to the entire Democrat party… spewing what was is clearly intellectual dishonesty to influence the electorate. The people can smell this rat from miles away… Democrats telegraphing that they truly see the electorate as manipulate-able non-thinking clones they can control with memes and DNC-delivered talking points that their media pals replay.
The advice to all candidates and both parties is to never give the voters a sense of inauthenticity.
People live paycheck to paycheck in all ranges of income...it is truly surprising.
Amsterdam, and other countries, have turned a blind eye to the Muslim community for years...
Kamala's reaction to losing: talk about someone who didn't expect to win.
A feminist version of Joe Rogan: anyone remember Air America and the "success" that it was??
The D's, and specifically those that say the R's are anti-woman (and anti-strong woman) seem to have been silent (The mention of Trumps chief of staff didn't mention first woman ever) on the first job position given.
I thought everyone had already burned through their covid savings...
If Kamala can raise $1B and still owe money...imagine how she would have run the country.
