BREAKING: Nancy Pelosi’s husband was violently attacked with a hammer in their San Francisco home early Friday morning. Nancy Pelosi was not in San Francisco at the time. Details are still emerging but the suspect is in custody.
Clip of the day: Chuck Schumer told Joe Biden and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on a tarmac late yesterday that Georgia is going “downhill” implying that the Democrats’ internal polling has Raphael Warnock behind Herschel Walker.
Unaware that cameras could pick up their audio, Schumer went on to say, “It looks like the debate didn’t hurt us too much in Pennsylvania … so that’s good.”

Elon Musk went on a firing rampage within the first few hours of his rein at Twitter. After closing the highly anticipated $44 million deal late Thursday night, Musk cut ties with the CEO, CFO, and two top executives but owes them collectively over $200 million.
Musk plans on reversing lifetime bans but told advertisers "Twitter obviously cannot become a free-for-all hellscape ... Fundamentally, Twitter aspires to be the most respected advertising platform in the world." Here’s his intro:
