🚨 DEVELOPING: National Security Threat
Rep. Mike Turner of the House Intelligence Committee just released this memo with no additional context. This is all we know.
Jon Stewart
The famed former host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show made his highly anticipated return to the network as media pundits and Democrats salivated over the prospect of Jon Stewart relentlessly hammering Donald Trump once again.
That did not happen. Watch:
Democrats and members of the media were furious with Stewart’s decision to poke fun at Biden’s age which resulted in headlines like:
Rolling Stone: Liberals Are Not Laughing About Jon Stewart’s Jabs at Joe Biden
New York Times: You Might Not Like What Jon Stewart Has to Tell You
The Daily Beast: ‘The View’ Flips Out Over Jon Stewart’s Biden Criticism: ‘Sick of This Ageism!’
The result of Stewarts’ performance was a six-year high viewership record for The Daily Show with 900,000 people tuning in. However, this is still far behind the more than 2 million people who watch Gutfeld on Fox News.
Impeachment
HHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was impeached by the House of Representatives last night following an embarrassing failed vote from the previous week. The largely symbolic move is heading nowhere in the Senate as the Democratic-controlled upper chamber has preemptively killed any chance of conviction.
U.S. Probes Israeli Strikes That Killed Civilians in Gaza, Possible Use of White Phosphorus in Lebanon
The U.S. is investigating several Israeli airstrikes in Gaza that killed dozens of civilians and the possible use by Israel of white phosphorus in Lebanon, as part of a probe by the State Department to determine whether America’s closest ally has misused its bombs and missiles to kill civilians, U.S. officials told The Wall Street Journal.
The process shows the dilemmas facing the Biden administration, which so far has ruled out putting conditions on arms transfers to pressure Israel, but faces increasing calls from some members of Congress to do so as the war wears on.

Artificial intelligence, real emotion. People are seeking a romantic connection with the perfect bot
A few months ago, Derek Carrier started seeing someone and became infatuated. He experienced a “ton” of romantic feelings but he also knew it was an illusion. That’s because his girlfriend was generated by artificial intelligence.
Carrier wasn’t looking to develop a relationship with something that wasn’t real, nor did he want to become the brunt of online jokes. But he did want a romantic partner he’d never had, in part because of a genetic disorder called Marfan syndrome that makes traditional dating tough for him.

Market snapshot:
Except for public services jobs paid for with taxes, the wage you’re paid in an entrepreneurial, competitive business enterprise is designed to be not only covered by the revenue earned by the business but then exceeded by a planned amount in order to fund other activities besides wage costs. Why would any business pay you a dollar in wages but then consistently only realize 60 cents in revenue attributable to your labor? And there’s no such thing as a “living wage.” Wages are never established, in either the public or the private sector, with the idea that people need “this much” to “live on” or to be “fair.” Your personal needs for money are of no concern to any employer.
Well, I may not agree with his politics, but Stewart is definitely ON POINT!! PERIOD!! in my opinion, we've got way too many old fogies still trying to hang on to power , position, and the purse -- the Mitch McConnells, the Chuck Schumers, etc; It's past time for them to retire and get the hell on!! Now we have two Octegenarians running for the White House... dammit, man!! #OldFogiesVsYoungGuns
