The Tennessee State House
Media outlets claim two black lawmakers were expelled from the Tennessee state house for taking a stand on gun control following the deadly shooting at the Covenant School. That’s not exactly what happened…
What happened: Just days after the Nashville shooting, Tennessee House Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson snuck a bullhorn onto the House floor and interrupted debate by leading a protest that forced the delegation to recess for the day. The Sergeant in Arms demanded they stop their protest and they refused. In response, the Republican-controlled House voted to expel both lawmakers with a vote that fell along party lines.
Response: The two Justins have been media sensations over the weekend appearing on the Sunday shows and getting shoutouts from every major elected Democrat. ABC’s coverage was possibly the most disturbing.
Macron Bows To China?
On his way back from a three-day trip to China, French President Emmanuel Macron said Europe must “resist pressure to become America’s follower.” Full quote:
“The paradox would be that, overcome with panic, we believe we are just America’s followers. The question Europeans need to answer … is it in our interest to accelerate [a crisis] on Taiwan? No. The worse thing would be to think that we Europeans must become followers on this topic and take our cue from the U.S. agenda and a Chinese overreaction,”
The statement comes as China declares today it is “ready for war” following three days of large-scale military drills near Taiwan. The drills were practice for China sealing off the island in response to the Taiwanese president’s trip to the U.S. last week.
Massive Intelligence Leak
One of the most significant leaks of highly classified U.S. documents in recent history began among a small group of posters on a messaging channel that trafficked in memes, jokes and racist talk.
Sometime in January, seemingly unnoticed by the outside world, an anonymous member of a group numbering just over a dozen began to post files—many labeled as top secret—providing details about the war in Ukraine, intercepted communications about U.S. allies, such as Israel and South Korea, and details of American penetration of Russian military plans, among other topics.

Riley Gaines
Famed Kentucky swimmer and conservative activist Riley Gaines was held hostage by transgender activists at San Francisco State University. Gaines was forced to shelter in a classroom for three hours until the police arrived.
Disturbing: A San Francisco State VP called the incident peaceful and offered no apology to Gaines.
Response: ESPN analyst Sage Steele took to Twitter to say: “Are there any other women with public platforms willing to stand up for Riley Gaines & the millions of female athletes?? Or do we only stand up for those who fit certain narratives?? LADIES, WHERE ARE YOU?”
