Welcome! Elon Musk paid off a flight attendant to the tune of $250K. Musk says there’s more to the story.

Trump Abandons Perdue
Donald Trump appears to have abandoned David Perdue less than a week before primary day in Georgia. New polling out yesterday showed Perdue behind Brian Kemp by 32 points. Trump called Perdue’s run a “lackluster campaign effort” and does not plan to make any more appearances in Georgia. Ouch.
Nick vs Jimbo
We’re not a sports outfit but wow is the Nick Saban vs Jimbo Fisher beef heating up. Here are the basics: Alabama football regularly delivers a top-tier recruiting class that has led to six championships since 2009. This year, Texas A&M beat out Alabama and according to ESPN delivered “the top-rated group in the modern era of recruiting rankings.” Wow. Since the inception of NIL (name, image, & likeness) players have been allowed to receive financial compensation off of their personal brand which has complicated recruiting. Nick Saban accused Jimbo Fisher of “paying for their players” ostensibly through NIL. Jimbo was having none of it.
Alabama plays Texas A&M on October 8th.
Hunter’s Back!
NBC has a damning new report out on Hunter Biden that you need to read. Here’s an excerpt:
From 2013 through 2018 Hunter Biden and his company brought in about $11 million via his roles as an attorney and a board member with a Ukrainian firm accused of bribery and his work with a Chinese businessman now accused of fraud, according to an NBC News analysis of a copy of Biden’s hard drive and iCloud account and documents released by Republicans on two Senate committees.
…
The documents and the analysis indicate that few of Biden’s deals ever came to fruition and shed light on how fast he was spending his money. Expenditures compiled on his hard drive show he spent more than $200,000 per month from October 2017 through February 2018 on luxury hotel rooms, Porsche payments, dental work and cash withdrawals.
