Violence at the DNC
More than 150 violent protestors stormed the Washington headquarters of the Democratic National Committee last night demanding the party support a ceasefire in Gaza.
Details: Top Democrats including House minority leader Hakeem Jefferies were evacuated from the building after the protestors turned violent. Despite the violent nature of the protests that resulted in six officers requiring medical assistance, only one protestor was arrested.
Quote: Democratic Congressman Brad Sherman was evacuated from the building and later tweeted, “Apparently, these pro-Hamas demonstrators want Republicans to prevail in the next Congressional election.” Watch his interview on CNN here.
Noteworthy: As I said yesterday in this piece, The Washington Post is increasingly proving itself to be an anti-semitic newspaper that ignores unflattering stories of Hamas and Palestine. As John Ashbrook noted on Twitter, the paper completely ignored the violent protests.
More Migrants on Terrorism Watch List Crossed U.S. Border
An increasing number of migrants arrested at the southern border over the past year are on the United States’ terrorist watch list, according to government data.
From October last year to this September, officials at the southern border arrested 169 people whose names matched those on the watch list, compared with 98 during the previous fiscal year and 15 in 2021, according to government data. But that is a minuscule fraction of the total number of migrants who were apprehended at the border over the past year, more than two million.
The increase appears to reflect at least two factors, a surge in illegal crossings and the number of people arriving from a wider variety of countries than in previous years.

TikTok
Young Americans are recirculating Osama bin Laden’s propagandist letter to America justifying terrorist attacks in a recently discovered TikTok trend.
My take from my morning piece: TikTok really must be destroyed in its present form. Former President Trump pushed to shut down TikTok unless China gave up its control. Trump’s efforts were thwarted. Multiple states have banned TikTok from government devices and attempted to block the platform’s use at government locations. Joe Biden has declined. A man who claims he is concerned about misinformation and disinformation seems wholly uninterested in shutting down China’s easy access into the lives and minds of our kids.

Market snapshot:
Violence at the DNC... Well it was mostly peaceful and it didn't happen at the Capitol, so nothing to see here. But I suspect if it did the WaPo would report "enthusiastic visitors got a little out of hand".
Re: Violence at the DNC - Looks like insurrection to me... Can we start arresting and holding them for years without charges? ..... No?
Re: Only 24% of Democrats think they are better under Biden - It won't stop him from being reelected though.
Re: Is America ready for its next war? - There's no question, Gen-Z is largely a disaster. God help us if there's a draft. The reason we're in this mess of unreadiness is spelled O-B-A-M-A--B-I-D-E-N. China's population also outnumbers the US by almost 4 to 1... in warfare, quantity has a quality all its own. And warships? While it's true that China's Navy is now the largest in the world in terms of number of vessels, it's only because these are mostly coastal patrol boats and corvettes.... two classes of small vessels that generally stay in sight of land and aren't capable of conducting extended, blue-water deep-ocean operations far from home. In terms of tonnage, the US Navy is still the biggest, by far. China's military is also very green... they haven't fought a major war since Korea. Back in the 70's they were getting their butts kicked by Vietnam. The other piece of good news is that the US has two big oceans on either side of us. And while China may be able to more control their specific region, being a global power is still nowhere near the horizon. No, this is all about taking back Taiwan and trying to punish Japan for WWII. Any war that we fight will be in their sphere of influence... and thank the LORD for South Korea and Japan as being strong allies.
Between 2002 - 2019, I travelled all through China on business. These are wonderful people, I never had a bad experience. They just can't stand their government. And several years back when they changed their laws to let Xi Jinping stay in power indefinitely, I knew there was going to be trouble..
