Sending American Oil Overseas
Five million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve were shipped overseas to Eruope and Asia as the domestic price of gas remained near a record high. The Biden administration released one million barrels of oil per day in June with the hope of driving down gas prices. Today’s news implies that roughly one-fifth of all oil released from the reserves ended up overseas. President Biden’s own press secretary had no idea:
Jean-Pierre was also blissfully unaware of French President Emmanuel Macron’s viral hot-mic conversation about oil production with President Biden last week.

Newsom Vacations in Montana after Banning State-Funded Travel There
This is from National Review:
California governor Gavin Newsom’s admitted that the Democrat was vacationing in Montana on Tuesday, despite having banned state-funded travel to the red state on account of its “anti-LGBTQ” policies.
Newsom is set to vacation in Montana for the week and will return to the office next Monday, CalMatters reporter Emily Hoeven said on Twitter. The family of Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, own a ranch in Montana and the pair held their wedding there in 2008, noted Hoeven.
California currently bans state-funded travel to 20 states, including Montana, to “avoid supporting or financing discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.”
