🚨 BREAKING: Justice Department Investigates Squad Member
The Justice Department is conducting a criminal investigation into Missouri’s US House Rep Cori Bush. While details are scarce at the moment, Jake Sherman at Punchbowl News says the criminal probe is in relation to Bush’s misappropriation of federal security dollars.
Iran
Following the deaths of three US military members in Jordan at the hands of Iranian proxies, Democrats are worried about the political fallout from Joe Biden's response.
Details: Biden has pressed senior military officials for a range of options that include varying levels of US ground engagement. Despite the deaths, the White House has been adamant that it does not want a war with Iran signaling that a direct strike on Iranian soil is off the table.
The problem: Biden is losing support among young voters over his stance on Israel and is significantly behind in the swing state of Michigan’s heavy Muslim population. At the same time, Secretary of State Antony Blinken deemed this period in the Middle East “the most volatile since 1973.”
Perspective: Iran has been careful to avoid direct conflict with the United States and Israel through plausible deniability. While it funds a loose coalition of Muslim terror organizations and supports the October 7th attacks, it leaves each terrorist group to operate freely within their region.

TikTok
TikTok said it has spent $1.5 billion building an operation intended to convince U.S. lawmakers that the popular video-sharing app is safe.
TikTok executives publicly promised to voluntarily wall-off American user data and bring in engineers and third parties to certify the app’s algorithm delivered content without interference from China, where its parent company, ByteDance, is located.
So far, TikTok is struggling to live up to those promises.

House Republicans poised to torpedo GOP’s best chance in years to pass border bill
House Republicans appear to be on the precipice of torpedoing their best opportunity in years of enacting border legislation.
Republicans had long insisted on changes to border and migration policy as a condition of approving any additional aid to Ukraine. But as Senate negotiators close in on a deal that does just that, opposition from former President Trump threatens to sink the bill, which many conservatives say doesn’t go far enough to put the brakes on southern migration.
The House opposition — from GOP leaders on down — is frustrating even some conservative immigration reformers, who fear the Trump-led resistance will sink the GOP’s best chance in years to bolster border security.

Market snapshot:
Erick, you’re kidding right? The immigration bill codifies a disaster of epic proportion. 5,000 illegals per day? 1.8 million per year? Work permits to those already here? Want to further hollow out the middle class and gut black and hispanic communities? Go ahead and support this bill. Really…we’ve already “compromised” our way to a $36 Trillion in debt, a yearly deficit of $2 Trillion, and interest payments alone of approximately $1 Trillion per year. Our productivity as a country is non-existent and the markets are propped up by our government printing money. This whole thing is gonna crash and when it does the Republicans will be more to blame because they didn’t have the guts to just say no!
I'm so tired of Dems, 'RINOs' (and Erick) railing against Republicans on the border 'deal' when we don't have ANY details. When Obama's DHS Secretary (Jeh Johnson) said 1,000 migrants coming across the border daily would be a disaster, how in the world can we possibly consider passing ANY legislation that supposedly allows ranges of 3,500 - 5,000 a day to cross?
NO border legislation should be passed that doesn't include:
Finishing /fortifying the wall
Remain in Mexico
Expedited asylum processing (increased judges)
Expedited deportation/repatriation for asylum denials
Biden created this disaster via Executive Orders. He doesn't need ANY additional 'authority' to fix it. Just enforce the #$%& laws already on the books, and reinstate the Trump policies.
