McCarthy just lost a fourth vote for speaker thanks to a group of conservative Republicans willing to stand up to leadership. The coverage of these Republicans by mainstream media outlets paints them as radical egomaniacs who want to watch democracy burn. The same outlets who view gender as a spectrum refuse to acknowledge the spectrum of views on the Republican side as opposed to identifying them as an ideological monolithic party. My friend Chip Roy and many of the other “rebels” are genuinely concerned about electing another principleless speaker leading a Republican majority and the country into further financial crisis. Take a moment and listen.

And of course the collectivist Democrats vote in line for the big election denier Jeffries.
McCarthy and the rest of the GOP establishment need to get the message or be sent packing. The GOP is feckless and weak combatting the rabid hive of destructive activist left that is now the Democrat party. They have to grow a spine.
Government by the people, of the people and for the people. Not government by the ruling class, of the ruling class and for the ruling class. Which side are you on Kevin McCarthy?
As much as I dislike most of these 20 congressmen I'm enjoying watching the humiliation of Kevin McCarthy.
Regarding Chip Roy, he was the first to nominate Byron Donalds for Speaker. This will be Donald's second term in Congress. Back in 2000 he pled guilty to taking a bribe to defraud a bank. That felony conviction was expunged when he took office in the Florida Legislature. I don't see this as a good look for Chip Roy.
We could do a pool to guess who the next nominee will be. I like to think there's a nominee for Speaker these guys can support. But it's also possible this is nothing more than Trumpist nihilism.
