On Friday of this past week, March for Life marched on Washington for the 49th consecutive year. 50,000 people were estimated to be in attendance on a sub-freezing January day. Unless you watched Fox News, the event was ignored by the media.
Many partisans on the left and the right try to ignore the issue of abortion. I was even admonished for bringing it up once when filling in for Rush though Rush himself told me to ignore the advice.
The issue of life and abortion begins in the Book of Luke but is woven throughout scripture. Take a listen:
God bless you Erick for your staunch support of the pro-life cause. A nation that kills its own, especially those most defenseless, has no future. Some jarring statistics from Rev. Clenard Childress, head of the blackgenocide.org project: (1) Into the mid-60s, 85% of black families in the U.S. were two-parent households. Then LBJ and the Dems rolled out the "Great Society" programs, which have literally destroyed the black family, and countless other families too, but primarily the black family. (2) Today 80% of black families are one-parent households. (3) Additionally, while blacks make up 14% of the U.S. population, they account for 36% of all abortions, 20 million abortions in total since the 1973 passage of Roe v. Wade! (4) Today a full 52% of black pregnancies end in abortion, and the Dems are for the blacks? Abortion is THE civil rights issue of our day and yet blacks march in lockstep to the slaughter. There has been an awakening, but a slow one. I pray today and everyday for either the conversion or destruction of the Democrat party, the party of division, hate, and in this case death. It's coming, but it can't come fast enough.
