Whether they can admit it or not, secular environmentalism is its own religion. It has its own creeds, forms and worship, and eschatology. The path to salvation in secular environmentalism is not based on the individual, but on society as a whole. While my salvation is through putting my faith and trust in Jesus, the secular environmentalist believes the world is going to end because of climate change and unless we collectively change our ways, we will all die. This is why we are going to start seeing violence in the environmental movement. Dissenters like you and me are preventing society as a whole from achieving salvation and we must be stopped. So if environmentalism is a religion, any rules, edicts, mandates and such issued by the Federal government respecting said religion are therefore a violation of the establishment clause of the First Amendment.
