I subscribed to Vittert’s email list. A lot of the information is certainly of value, but the incessant use of emojis is annoying, juvenile and reeks of clickbait.

He should appoint an adult to take over his communications, and perhaps move his newsletters over to Substack, where the only grownups on the internet live.

It’s key to remember and consider that the language used by progressives/marxists is full of double and triple meanings. There is a surface meaning for the uninitiated plebes, but a real meaning for the initiated. When they talk about democracy, they are talking about it in a Marxist sense, the same with liberation. It’s helpful to remember the meaning of progressive for a Marxist. When they talk about progress, they are taking about the Hegelian dialectic.

It’s also helpful to remember their ultimate goal, which is to tear down the constitution and replace it with a Marxist one.

"As an aside, this is why so many people are so conspiracy-minded these days."

We need to admit it. In light of all this DOGE information, in only two weeks, that has identified hundreds of billions in graft, corruption and democracy-destroying spending to rig elections for Democrats... the JSixers are American patriotic heroes. They saw this before all the "smart" people did. Even today, the MSM is ignoring the real story of the DOGE data uncovered.

Ironic isn't it that another DOGE acronym is:

D = Democrat

O = Oligarchy

G = Graft

E = Enterprise

And the Trump/Musk DOGE program is to end this former DOGE.

This pastor is cherry picking Jesus' words to misconstrue the meaning. We cannot take things out of context. This is my humble encapsulation: Up until then, the kingdom of Heaven had been subjected to violence and wars. Now that the Messiah had come, He offered peace and a better way if you were ready to accept it.

Well said and to the point. But l don’t expect Congress to take the lead and actually legislate. That would take leadership from the Republican side of the aisle. Maybe Trump could help giving them a backbone.

EOs are light switches. Trump 45 flipped the economic light switch on, then Biden came in and turned it back off. Trump 47 has turned it back on again, but to your point Erick, if Congress doesn't LEGISLATE, it's a temporary solution at best. And how the hell is Congress going to legislate if they can't even pass a budget, which they've not done on time in 27 years?? Kathy below said it best: After dithering away their opportunities, these same people will beg us to reelect them by promising to do it right the next time. It is SO frustrating!

Amen, brutha! I first became aware of this ridiculous cycle back when John Boehner was Speaker during Obama's first term. He whined that his hands were tied because only the House had a Republican majority. Truth is, he had plenty of options, but he chose to play ball instead. Jackass.

We can’t believe in any government institution until all the lefties and progressives have been kicked to the curb and out of power.

The Hatch Act is still a thing. Interestingly Hatch was a Democrat senator when FDR was president. I suspect the purpose was to prevent non -progressives from interfering with the implementation of the administrative state.

The Progressive Right would do just as much to discredit our institutions.

Yes, burn down a number of agencies, USAID, DoEd, and I am sure a dozen others who's mission could be eliminated all together or the worthwhile parts be put under the State Department or a legacy department.

Yes, the progressive Left is anathema to the to Founding. Fire the fools who believe their job is to implement policy, natural rights be damned.

I have no problem with "experts" advising Congress, but if the expert thinks the equation is binary, do this or else we all die, don't do this because children and minorities will be hit hardest, they need not be listened to.

"The right person" in charge is not the issue. The administrative state exists because Congress is complicit. Congress must be forced to legislate, write laws for the people, not for bureaucrats to interpret intent and divine and implement "laws" that Congress was too dysfunctional and cowardly to pass.

I wish Trump would focus more on things here in America than on building on Gaza and getting Greenland. We need to fix us first.

What are your thoughts on Congressman Roy? I know he is a friend. Should he continue to fight other factions of the party, or should the slim majority all come together? Will they in the end? That is my worry, Congress not coming together, and wasting everyone's time for the next few years.

From what I've read, Chip Roy and the Freedom Caucus are attempting cut the elephant into bites. That is, take "one big beautiful bill" that Speaker Johnson is trying to push through the House and cut it into two budget reconciliation bills: one that provides additional funds for border security and defense while slashing spending in other areas; and the second to address tax cuts closer to the time when Trump 45's tax cuts are set to expire. While this makes sense to me, I'm sure Chip Roy and the Freedom Caucus will be vilified by the press and will subsequently be considered the bad guys for breaking rank.

I hear you Erick and I agree that signing Executive Orders will not accomplish much in the long run. But do our legislators and our senators hear you? Sometimes they prefer not to see the big picture. They have to do the work now and I just don’t think they can agree on much of anything.
