Instead of running for President, Kamala Harris should be running an apology tour for the damage the Biden-Harris administration has done to the American economy through policy proposals that have been roundly disproven by economists. But instead, the Harris team appears intent on doubling down.
It was notable to me that a Harris surrogate went on CNBC’s Squawk Box to defend the merits of taxing unrealized gains (at 0:42 below). While co-host Joe Kernen is well known to be right of center, fellow co-host Becky Quick is not. Quick, who also happens to be Warren Buffett’s preferred media personality, eviscerated the Harris surrogate for even suggesting that a tax on unrealized gains is sound policy.
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden ignored Democratic economists like Larry Summers who warned them that their massive COVID stimulus package would spark inflation. Instead of learning from the mistakes, the Harris team appears to be doubling down on a laundry list of progressive fiscal policy initiatives in what will be a failed attempt to fix the affordability crisis that she helped create. Watch:
I almost want to admire the way she goes on about how everything is just peachy and it's because she's such a good vice president yet at the same time wants to distance herself from being connected to Biden and now seems to be taking platform suggestions from Donald Trump. She certainly has earned a spot in the political dictionary next to the word "chameleon"...
A little more osmosing and EE might be adding an addendum to his post a few days back, that this election could determine the future of THE USA> I would say it is that dire. The corruption has to be disclosed. (how in hades is JB and his family entitled to collect those millions and millions?) The corruption has to be disclosed and purged (GITMO Tribunals) and that is the only way MSM would be forced to make some big changes. That is going to bring chaos soon. Selah
