In 2020 when the George Floyd riots were in full swing, media outlets such as CNN defended the riots as fiery but mostly peaceful. In fact, when concern arose over the political impact the protests might have on Democrats at the ballot box, media outlets attempted to play defense by citing a study from a progressive organization claiming that 99% of the protests were peaceful.
As expected, the exact same scenario is unfolding again today.
A growing number of Americans support the right of the Israeli government to pursue Hamas in Gaza while a paltry 20% of voters support the chaos on college campuses. Right on cue, media outlets such as MSNBC are citing a study claiming that 99% of college protests today are peaceful.
The American electorate intuitively understands that this is not the case. Americans watched Joe Biden and the Democrats lecture the right that “black lives matter” (instead of “all lives matter”) was a valid statement when several black Americans died at the hands of police. These same Democrats are now lecturing Americans about the perils of antisemitism and Islamaphobia when genocidal calls are only being made against the Jews.
But the larger issue is that Democrats have only begun serious damage control after public polling swung hard against the protestors as they became increasingly violent. Instead of taking a principled stand to protect an ethnic minority on college campuses, Democrats waited for polling to rein in the antisemites within the Democratic base. This isn’t leadership. Watch:
They own the media and big tech. “They” being the Wall Street Democrats.
“Riots? Riots? I’m shocked!”
