When Progressive Claim Media Bias
There is a legitimate movement among progressive pundits in this country to claim that Donald Trump’s appointment of Pete Hegseth, Sean Duffy, and other Fox News alums prove that media bias favors conservatives in this country. Friends of mine on the left have jumped on this bandwagon in an attempt to twist conservatives’ age-old adage that the mainstream media favors the left.
There’s one big problem: history. Watch:
So, there's this thing now called a microphone. It gets attached to another thing that records the sounds the microphone takes in in various mediums. We can play those recordings over and over again to hear what people actually said. We also have a really cool device called a camera. It lets us take images of things that actually happened and someone figured out how to string those pictures together to create what they now call videos. Oh, and they have a place called the internet where those audio and visual recordings live forever. We no longer need people to tell us what someone said or did. We can go see it for ourselves. It's the most remarkable thing and I don't think Progressives know it exists. Fascinating how the Left thinks that by simply saying something happened a certain way, they can erase the recorded word and image. Simply fascinating.
