It is impossible to drive through any major city without seeing a plethora of help-wanted signs. Despite an impressive jobs report last month, businesses are still desperate for workers. Some of the blame can be laid at the feet of PPP and the severing of the employee/employer relationship. Another explanation is the sky-high inflation we are experiencing that has forced workers to find more lucrative jobs. Regardless, the underlying issue is an acceptance of Modern Monetary Theory.
