Thank you for these thoughts. If this had happened anywhere else in the country except Trump’s front yard, it would have just been a tragic accident. But the rush to blame a President who has been in office less than two weeks is sickening, and tells us more about the depth of Trump Derangement Syndrome in the writers of such garbage. Using this tragedy as a political football negates the fact that the lives of 64 people came to a shocking end over the Potomac. Truly, it depresses me to no end that so much rabid hatred swirls through our society and has twisted the minds of so many people. The energy it takes to maintain that level of hate has to be exhausting.

We have developed into warring tribes who blame each other for anything unpleasant that happens. No one waited until all the facts were uncovered before casting blame.

Lord help us.
