Something in this wood pile. Things have got to get better somehow.

And to think I voted for Ms. Willis because the other guy (Paul Howard) was so corrupt. Seriously thinking about sitting out the next election.

Honestly, she is still better than Howard.

I would have voted for her over Howard if I voted in the Dem primary. I honestly don’t remember if a Republican ran against her in the general election. Howard going after the Atlanta cops for defending themselves was only the worst of his stuff.

Nothing new in ATL. Thirty years ago, Atlanta Municipal Judge Devoe required defendants and their families to meet with his lover, a clinical psychologist. At those sessions, she would always find at least one other family member who needed additional counseling. This continued until investigative reporter Dale Cardwell uncovered it. Why don't we have investigative reporters nowadays?

The AJC, which gets a lot of well deserved crap, has done notable investigative reports, including the school cheating scandal that all the pols wanted to cover up. They still do good work.

The internet killed newspapers. I think it was economist Joseph Schumpeter who coined the phrase “creative destruction.” And here we are.

Great question! I suspect it's because "investigative reporter" has become an oxymoron.

None of this surprises me It looks like a repeat of 1920s Chicago when graft ran rampant in the City and still does only it’s not the mob but the Democrat party

We can look forward to the gaslight defense, "but Ken Paxton",. Yep there you have it, you can't talk about Fani because Ken.

Ok. I am happy to go down the AG Paxton path. A Grand Jury was held. Indictments were issued. A trial happened. He was found not guilty. Now he is refocused on protecting Texans from the Dems.

A Grand Jury should be empaneled to investigate corruption in the Fulton County DA's office. Let the people decide.

Meanwhile, the YSL RICO case goes on hold until a new prosecution team can be assembled. AND.....drum roll.... all of the evidence needs to be examined to see if it is fruit of the poison tree.

Tyler Perry.... where do I plug my Amex in to stream this saga?

Michael Roman is clearly more adept than Donald Trump at hiring lawyers.

But, if her allegations against Ms. Willis stand, it could and should undermine the whole shoddy, political law fare case against everyone accused, Trump included. To be clear, I want someone other than Trump to run and win, but every case brought against him is political and would never be brought against a democrat.

I agree. I hope Roman's attorney brings the whole case down!

Yet another Democratic run big city DEI hire DA way over her skis both ethically and professionally. See St Louis and Baltimore as recent examples. She has spent millions on the Young Thug Rico trial which is most assuredly not going well for her. Fulton County is a disaster on every level. Sadly the constituents will continue to elect Liberal progressive politicians who will continue to drive the decline of these once great cities.

Only when white churches politic is correct... and is there any integrity in any Democrat DA? The judge that sealed the divorce file should be gone today.

A political argument out there is that if Trump can be indited, then Brandon will also be occupying a cell.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. A grandstanding prosecutor engaged in unethical practices and quite possibly illegal actions in a coordinated attack against political foe.
