Why pay any attention to an obviously deranged and misguided idiot. The more she is criticized the more she will feel justified in her rage against the system. She is just an extremes example of people with blinders, like the recent NYT article listing all the good that their distorted and twisted 1619 project has accomplished.

Of course it’s not violence it’s not her house or car or business getting burned or vandalized these people are truly nuts and just once I wish this would happen to them so they know what it’s like to lose something you worked for and criminals took it away

Its not just violence. Its illegal no matter what they choose to call or not call it.

What this might do, if they are not careful here, is setup for white supremacy groups to storm black or minority neighborhoods in the same manner. I mean its not violence right?

Sorry, I'm old school on this. Let me preface by saying that I do NOT participate in protests or wear inflammatory T-shirts / ballcaps for the very reason that I don't want to stir confrontation. So if I'm minding my own business and someone breaks my window or damages my car simply because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, I will instantly and decisively introduce them to violence. Homie don't play.

Excellent Erick. The left are either incapable, or willfully ignore the obvious truth you expose that destroying physical property is violence. They can't possibly be so obtuse as to not realize the emotional terror destruction of property inflicts on the people whose property is destroyed. This somewhat segways into your theme of the other day, that possibly, the American media is an enemy of the people. When they willingly promote a narrative that has been proven to be a lie, when they fail to hold both Rebublicans and Democrats to the same ethical standards, they weaken our country. The weakest, silliest, most ludicrous democrats are propted up, allowing no winnowing force to push against them. saddling our country with these weak, unserious people, who really need to find another line of work.

This is a good shot.

I noted this trend for "progressive" liberal social justice activists in my community that were pushing for a restorative justice program for lower level property crimes that included theft. In debates with them it was clear that they had determined that property crime should not be prosecuted and that the guilty were generally victims of poor economic circumstances and 3-stikes resulted in cruel and unusual punishment. My wife sat on the community court for about a year and got to know our county DA well. He is a good guy. I think the restorative justice process is needed and good... even though it is at risk of going too far and needs an honest and law-focused DA to help keep in it line. She agreed that at least half of the cases benefited from the process. The other half were going to repeat.

However, we should blast these absurd language manipulators on the left who would call Jan-6 an insurrection and coup attempt (Erick, I think you help them here... not good) while claiming that the Summer of 2020 and the current Antifa riots are peaceful and not violent (I guess we also have ignore the shooting of a cop in Atlanta along with all the smashed windows and burned building and cars) with direct HUMILIATION. These people are toxic clone warriors of the cultural Marxist and they are really fodder for making great fun of. They are not serious people. Of course many have adopted their ideology as right and righteous... any means to their end goals area good... but what drives them is a feeling that they are on the virtuous and moral side of history. Only lots of direct humiliation that is consistent and comes from other influential people will they start to back down and correct.

Is there any reason our Republican leaders or the news media refuse to call out the DEMOCRATS that controlled the South's Governorships between the 1870's and 1950's. THE DEMOCRAT PARTY who put JIM CROW INTO law in 1870 and WAS FINALLY abolished in 1965. DEMOCRAT Senators Richard Russell, Thurmond, Robert Byrd, William Fulbright and Sam Ervin. Russell started the filibuster in late March 1964, and it would last for 60 working days in the Senate. There was a special on PBS (not a conservative outlet) that had a show - "Slavery by Another Name" Book (Pulitzer Prize) written by Mr. Douglas Blackmon about human slavery in the South in the 40's, 50's and 60's. When Jim Crow, KKK and segregation is talked about it should be prefaced by the word DEMOCRAT. Democrat President Lyndon Johnson signed into Law the Civil Rights Act. As he said - it championed his values, but the truth be with his history, he was again pandering as the Democrats do for the Black Vote. Think about why the Democrat Party is trying to either erase or rewrite history and tear down statues and portraits.

In no other context would anyone in their right mind make this argument. It's only when shilling for violent leftists to liberals feel the need to make distinctions like this. If they were angry Trump supporters burning Atlanta, they'd call the National Guard.

So...if one knew where this woman lives, and went over and threw bricks through her windows and burned her car, could one introduce her writings as a legal defense?
