Can you imagine the media reaction if a Republican’s press secretary had done what Governor Katie Hobbs’ press secretary did today after a mass shooting of children in Nashville? Josselyn Berry is Hobbs’s current Press Secretary paid by Arizona taxpayers.
Words are violence, but actual violence is not violence.
Calling for protests is dog whistle for commit violence, but actually call for violence and get a pass for looking dumbfounded when violence occurs.
Wear a hat with the "wrong" slogan and you deserved the beatdown, you're not a victim. The people that gave you the beatdown are the victims when arrested.

After reading what you wrote, I managed to find the story written up in Huffpost -- a publication I tend to avoid because I find it too sensational. She tweeted a meme via her personal Twitter account. Stupid move, and if I were Kaite Hobbs I’d fire her.
But why make this political at all? The shooter murdered six humans. No amount of personal pain excuses then for that, before law or heaven. Period.
It is their ideology. How do you reason with people who's opinions are based on a faith? Faith by definition transcends rational thought. I have hard core Christian, Jewish and Muslim friends that argue that. They say that their religion is completely rational. I don't argue with them on this even though clearly they are wrong. The point is that strong faith beliefs feel rational to a believer.
The press used to challenge these things and those politicians afflicted with irrational reactions would be skewered. But now the media promotes the ideology.
Until and unless the media gets back to journalistic integrity we are stuck with this crazy.

100% sure the 8 year old and the two 9 year olds were not “transphobes.” Not sure anyone is a transphobe. That suggest fear of trans “people”. As if they are aliens. Up until 2 years ago nobody cared. Now it’s a narrative. A “thing.” We all must obey.
