In this day, the world needs more messages of hope--hope because of a Higher Power. Too often we look for the real hope from His creatures, though we can surely be conduits of His love, mercy & grace to people who are hungry, thirsty and looking for reasons on why we are here. Thank you, Erick for reminding the world why we are here in the first place. Blessings on you and your family.
I appreciate greatly the open confession of truth that has been published lately.
As to angels singing, I personally have no problem thinking it might be so, however, there is no explicit reference anywhere in the Bible to angels "singing", especially not in Luke 2:13 where it only says, "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying..." Praising is not synonymous with singing (though we can and do praise God in singing Biblical psalms and hymns) and saying is saying, not singing.
But, for my part, I reckon I will continue to sing, "Hark the herald angels sing" and other hymns that express that sentiment, because what they said is like "music" in our ears, if we believe.
Father, you show the world the splendor of your glory in the coming of Christ, born of the Virgin. Give to us true faith and love to celebrate the mystery of God made man. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I signed up read Ericks thoughts about politics, and do enjoy them, but I’m thinking that I enjoy his messages about God even more. If he published a daily devotional I would snatch it up in a heartbeat!

Love your writing. Merry Christmas
Opening Prayer:
Father, you show the world the splendor of your glory in the coming of Christ, born of the Virgin. Give to us true faith and love to celebrate the mystery of God made man. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Closing Prayer:
God be in my head and in my understanding;
God be in my eyes and in my looking;
God be in my mouth and in my speaking;
God be in my heart and in my thinking;
God be at my end and at my departing.
Amen.
