President Biden might be flubbing the little things, but the one BIG thing he is flubbing - Protection of the citizens of the United States of America. Why? After Democrat Senator Thurmond failed at using the filibuster to stop the Civil Right Act, it passed and was signed into law by President Johnson. The African Americans have been waiting since 1964 for the Democrats to be true to their promises to eradicate poverty, crime, failing schools, retail shops closing in their neighborhoods. As they say, "Maybe next year."

Apologies for sounding off. Trump is the gift that keeps on giving for the Dems. Period. Exclamation point. The party must jettison itself of his excrement in order to have a chance to win.

Sad but true. A good chunk of the GOP is hell bent on renominating the one Republican who'd likely lose to Biden in 2024. We have the winning arguments yet we choose the losing the ones.

I pray I will not have to choose between him and Biden again. Please Lord!

If Biden is driving people of color away from the Democrat Party... why they still vote so overwhelmingly for Democrats?

Don't mistake the fact that in recent elections an increasing share of minority voters have supported Republicans for an actual conversion. Voting against a party is a real thing, meaning sometimes the enemy of my enemy is my friend in politics.

I actually embrace this trend and wish political affiliation was far more transient and based on platform and recent performance. But that means Republicans have to give people a reason to vote FOR them and not just AGAINST democrats. Parties should have to earn votes every election, not assume they have 30% by default.

What we are witnessing is a lack of leadership, not a lack of vision, or a lack of intelligence, but a true lack of leadership.

Yes, Brandon is old, and yes, his age is showing. He forgets where he is. He sometimes trips and falls. He needs more rest, but not necessarily any more than any other octogenarian in a very high stress position. He has health issues, but many of us do when we get to our senior years. IMO, he is no longer physically or mentally capable of the highest stress job on the planet. Maybe he was 20 years ago, but clearly not today.

BUT…. What I notice more is the juxtaposition of President Biden vs President Trump. Trump worked 20 hours a day, every day, and has a habit of only 4 hours of sleep. Trump is always clearly in charge. He puts in place SUPPORTING staff who implement HIS VISION. When they failed, and lots did, he threw them out.

To exacerbate the problem, Brandon has some of the most demonstrably unskilled people we have seen in a long time. Pothole Pete. Granholm. Kamala. KJP.

Perceived weakness breeds world insecurity, and unstable markets, and higher interest rates, and higher anger levels. It brings the despots out of the woodwork.

In 2 years, we need to bring back a strong strong leader. While I hope it’s a conservative, at this point even a strong progressive will be better for us. What we need is Al Haig. Someone who steps to the microphone and tells the world that he is in charge.

Cheers

I appreciate that you would never vote for Trump, but you missed my point. What this nation needs is a vibrant strong leader who says what the plan is then outwardly attempts to accomplish that plan, all the while letting the nation know what the plan is.

It is also the rich, white, urban elites who populate public and private institutions of higher education (think “sinecures”), control the media, and dominate what today passes as the entertainment industry. Hence, wealth and disproportionate power accrue to them.

Time to say “no,” strengthen voter integrity laws, and VOTE.

You would think Susan Rice would know better. It’s just another indication how the left elites feel about the working middle class.
