They loved Sinema when she came out as bi-sexual, but can't stand it when she comes out as bipartisan.

Police are investigating the Krysten Sinema incident, since it seems that such nitwittery is a Class 5 felony in Arizona. And someone should have dealt with that other loony who decided to get into Sen. Sinema's face on that flight back to DC. I would have gladly helped with the duck tape.

I believe that we have the evidence to support a charge of incitement to violence against "Sweet" Maxine Waters, who a couple of tears ago, made her infamous "get in their faces" statement about members of the Trump Administration. Or, should we wait until one of these crazies kills a Sinema, a Manchin, or worse yet, someone thus accosted and harassed acts in self-defense and injures or kills a crazy?

It needs to end at Reps. Scalise and Giffords, Sen. Paul. And it needs to end by any means necessary and legal ON THE PART OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. If it doesn't, we'll soon enough see those thus assaulted respond in kind, and no one wants that to happen. And no, Mr. Biden, violating the private space of one's political opponents, or in the case of Sens. Sinema and Manchin, those nominally on your side who disagree with certain of your policies, is NOT acceptable - ever. "But it happens to everybody" is just lame, Mr. President; it shouldn't happen to anyone, and needs to stop. Right. Damned. NOW.

Apparently you're the man according to ratings so make a difference. That's why we have supported you. Rush, Hannity etc are polarized trump humpers. You're not a Boortz, yet, but you have pull over your listening audience, use it wisely.

Every conservative host from Rush to Hannity to you have pointed out the double standard. We all see it. My only question is how do we fix it.

It stops, as I noted above, by any legal and Constitutional means possible by law enforcement. That I doubt that our thoroughly politicized Department of Justice, under the leadership of an Attorney General who has proven not to be the mild mannered moderate he was advertised as being when Barack Obama nominated him to the Supreme Court, is of course unlikely. It's therefore up to state Attorneys General, fortified by their 10th Amendment right to do so as a right not retained by the Federal Government, to take the actions necessary to charge, try, convict, and if convicted puniush such wrongdoers as the person who vlatantly violated Sen. Sinema's privacy in that restroom. And, I'm sure that the loony who followed Maxine "get in their faces" Waters' advice certainly must have somehow violated Federal law. A few stiff felony convictions and jail terms by state authorities will make it clear that in some places at least, public decorum and order will be maintained.

If you refuse to live by absolute truth, everything else is nothing more than habitual relativism. Yes, the goal posts move.....

How soon we forget the bombing of the Capitol by the left. And just for the record I am not condoning what happened On Jan. 6.

Interesting…….“ I would say the incursion into the United States Capitol was in the top ten bad acts of political violence this country has seen. Thankfully, only one person died as a direct result of it, though several police officers died indirectly.”………..at that time it was ”shoot the protestors”- E Erickson - Jan. 6, 2021

Let's give Erick a small break here,William. At the time of the (non) "insurrection", all he, or any of us, had to work with was what the media was able to see; they weren't allowed into the Capitol building. Subsequent events, especially the release of the limited anount of inside surveillance video, revealed that the narrative being spun by the Democrats was patently BS. Erick didn't know that no Capitol Police officers died as a result of the (non) "insurrectionists", and that the only officer to die disd so from natural causes. We didn't also know that the only violent death in the whole event was that of an unarmed female military veteran shot as she was entering the building under, IMO, still questionable circumstances.

Is it any wonder, then, that we've yet to see all that surveillance video? I assume that Erick has learned that "Ready....fire....aim" was the wrong sequence here. What we seemed to have really had here was the Democrats' Reichstag Fire Moment - or would have except for the inconvenient truth (for them) which keeps slowly becoming public knowledge. This also explains why they conveniened the Biden Kangaroo Court, aka the Jan. 6th commission, to try to feed us another heaping load of crap, just in time for the 2022 and 2024 elections.

Yes…..ready, fire, aim literally was the wrong sequence. You recognize this. I recognize this. We have seen this time and time again. When the facts seep out (often) perspectives change. Thankfully only one person died….unless you are that person’s family. It could have been much worse.

The mob insanity of Jan. 6, incited by the President of the United States; the mob insanity of the left burning, looting and rioting; and many more examples of both sides operating in the post-modern, post-Christian world. I get the media's left-wing bias but the fact remains: Our side used to be better than this.

During the Kavanaugh hearings, the protesters gleefully bragged that they were trying to disrupt the hearings to prevent his confirmation, and the left, including members of Congress, applauded them doing so.

Not to mention the many provable instances of perjury under oath by the anti-Kavanaugh witnesses, and the "evidence" either of at best dubious origin, or spun out of whole cloth from the ridiculuosly nonexistent memories of the so-called witnesses.

I don't believe the left even sees the double standard in themselves, or at least they don't admit it. They have done it for so long, it is just normal liberal practice now.

When you internalize the counsel of Saul Alinsky to that degree, you become able to suppress internally the immorality of your actions, especially if you have a tendency to act outside of normal moral constraints as standard operating procedure.

Well said! And since Alinsky advocates that morality is dictated by the winner - thus, win at any cost and write your own history - "immorality" conveniently disappears behind the facade of making hard choices for the greater good. The greater good, of course, being defined by the smartest people in the room (just ask them).

They don't see the double standard because, to them, their bullying, harassment and violence is justified and necessary. When from the Right, they see no such thing.

Expand full comment

Absolutely! Yet in so doing, they've become the arbiters of right and wrong, choice and conformity, acceptable and unacceptable. How can people in this country be so ignorant as to not understand that protections like the First Amendment weren't designed to protect those who say AGREEABLE things, it was expressly designed to protect the rights of those with differing opinions, specifically those who disagreed with our government. But God help those who speak up now for the wrath of the mob is omniscient and omni-present, thanks to our friends at Twitter and Facebook.

Oh, they SEE it...they just don't have to ADMIT it because they know the media will carry their water and help justify it. The hypocrisy reeks, but for progressives the end justifies any means. IF WE HAD AN HONEST MEDIA, the progressive bullies could never get away with most of the crap they pull, including policy. But since the media has openly embraced the role of cheerleader and lead propagandist, their encouragement and justification of this behavior emboldens others to follow suit. And Erick, we can argue this all day long but IMO if the media weren't so openly and deliberately dishonest, January 6th would have never happened. Their blatant dishonesty gives credibility to all the crazies spinning conspiracy theories (including Trump), and that in turn gave traction to voting irregularities.
