I have thoughts! Yes, I’m on vacation, but I have thoughts on several issues and I’m here to regale you with them as I start thinking about restarting radio on Tuesday. Civil War Trackers try to trip up candidates sometimes. Nikki Haley has been tripped. She could have given a clear and direct answer about the Civil War, but got too clever trying not to trip over the tracker’s trap and got trapped in her trip up instead.
About what Nikki said. Who cares. Just get the nomination, or someone please other than Trump. We cant be this stupid and think he has a chance of winning. My thinking on that is the dems may or may not cheat against a Desantis or a Nikki. They are more likely to be questioned if either of those are the GOP candidate. But with Trump. I sincerely feel that the dems could flat out say "We defrauded the vote to keep trump from winning feeling it was our duty to America" and the media would get behind them fully. My point being although I think its unfounded and unfair what they are doing to Trump. the Truth is there are people on both sides who don't want him in the white house and would turn a blind eye to the dems cheating to keep him from the oval office. With that in mind know that Trump is guaranteed loss. The polls are trash. They don't make any sense and haven't been trustworthy since 2016.
People need to realize that it doesn't matter what Nikki said or didn't say or what friends Desantis has. Trump should not win the nomination.
I have lost my sense of humor about the Balloon debacle. That alone is worthy of an impeachment.
The guy with the Civil War “gotcha” question was so obviously a plant that Haley should have spotted it immediately but didn’t unfortunately for her. It’s disappointing to me to see DeSantis jumping on her, though I understand that’s the way the game is played. It would have been refreshing if he’d just said “we all face gotcha question and sometimes we might give an incorrect answer, but that doesn’t affect fitness for office unless it’s repeated constantly- like Biden for example.” In my dream world maybe.
I agree. I think candidates fail to realize the good-will they earn by illustrating their thoughtfulness with a reluctance to malign a fellow candidate at any and every opportunity. I’m looking for the candidate that shows wisdom and leadership and most all are falling short. My gut says that center-right and center-left voters are looking for someone smart and kind.
Nikki Haley didn't get caught by a trapper. She built her own trap; she was determined to stick to her talking points regardless of the question. So, when asked what the cause of America's Civil War was, she pivoted to "It was all about government control and individual freedom," or words to that effect. I'm not sure she paid any attention at all to the question because her stock answer was always going to be about the role of government and the amount of personal freedom required and/or allowed to individuals. In other words, she didn't think and wasn't thinking, though, of course, she could easily have worked her stock answer into an antidote to slavery. Not a good sign for a presidential candidate. But, then again, we are talking about replacing Joe Biden, who has never had an original thought in his life.
A real “president” would already long ago have sent up our own “spy balloon,” with large American flags emblazoned on all sides, over Communist China, broadcasting Bible verses down to their masses. Then when that one was shot down, another identical balloon would follow. Then another. But understandable when you’re so busy making our military “pink” that this wasn’t a project on the foreign affairs agenda.
We learn what really happened on the same day that Israel drops the news that they have been conducting retaliatory strikes against Iran, even a targeted assassination of a top IRG officer in downtown Tehran. Boy oh boy do I long for a real President again.

This is exactly why I expect Trump to win. Even people who aren’t Trump fans are anti-elitist advocates. Heck, I’m even thinking about voting for him just as a protest. And I didn’t vote for him either time before.

When you mentioned the SPY BALLOON, you should have also told us about the new biden rule that ALL Americans will sell property to the china people and government. They can just come in and buy the US. We have such a wonderful idiot in the white house now that has been TOTALLY bought off by china.

Well, the idiot in Chief is talking amnesty for the millions he just recently let in... I guess that was the initial part of the plan but you'd think they would wait it longer, for the press to ramp up sob stories and build up empathy, just in hopes it would be a little less obvious.
If that would bring down prices at Panda Express and all the other “Chinese” restaurants in each American strip mall, I’d maybe be ok with that. The dog meat specials, maybe not.
