The last time Democrats were this mad at West Virginia was when they decided they didn't want to be a slave state anymore. Joe Manchin is now officially President of the United States. We all knew this day was coming. President Joe Manchin has an op-ed in The Washington Post that spells sabotage for the Democrat agenda on the day Joe Biden decides to unveil his gun control initiatives.
Even though I am a conservative, I boldly proclaim I love Joe Manchin. Thank God for him and for proving there are still some Democrats with common sense.
Thank God for Joe Manchin. He happens to be right, by the way. Take away the filibuster and any thought of compromise goes down the drain. Something both parties should be finding ways to do as often as they can. The Senate is the only hope for civility in politics going forward, the house will always be a dog fight.
I'm liking Joe Manchin more and more. I'd consider voting for him if he actually ran for President. Ironically it's a "Democrat" who will quite possibly save our gun rights, the filibuster, keep some lib judges OFF the bench, etc. He is of course being attacked as a "DINO" (Democrat in Name Only), just like "our" side attacks any conservative/Republican as a "RINO" if they are not a tithing member of the Trump cult.
The Woke mob will come for Manchin but he understands there's not too many Woke mobsters in W. Va.

Hopefully Mitch can woo Manchin to cross the aisle and become a Republican. That could make VP Harris' ability to cast a tiebreaking vote moot.

I do most sincerely hope you are right on all this. What they can do and are doing is bad enough without the other plans being accomplished.
