I detest the Dem Party. Kill the babies. Trans the kids. Euthanize the elderly and sick. Bring in the millions of immigrants with thousands of criminals. Meanwhile, The Dems are also the support fraud party. Minnesota and California come to mind.

The American voters (legal voters including Democrats, Independents and Republicans) voted to close our borders and to deport illegal aliens (already a law on the books). Naively, I believed Government is “for the people, by the people, and of the people”. I no longer believe that. To say that I am appalled and sickened by what the “Democratic” party now stands for is too weak a statement. That word should be scrubbed from that party name as there is absolutely nothing democratic about it.

I asked several card-carrying Democrats who don’t support closed borders or deportation of illegal aliens what they would do if a family member was harmed or killed by an illegal alien. To a man (and woman), the answer was NOT “they didn’t mean to or we didn’t help them enough”. It was a resounding “find them, beat the crap out of them, and send them ‘to Hell and back”, and statements similar. If they really understood their viewpoints were at opposite poles from what the majority of voters actually want and stand for, they would/should disown that party. No one gave me a good answer without having to explain “the whole point” of the situation. The whole point is that this country should never have allowed it to get this way in the first place. I hold the Democratic Party accountable for most of what has happened and what continues to happen. And if those who fight against what the real Americans voted for continue to do so, they will send this country down the path that leads to more than just divisions hurting our country. This is my first post ever and I’m fearful for our country.

May God bless the USA. Sandy M

Just like when the Left had "Halliburton" on the brain when GW Bush was president. "Halliburton, Halliburton, Halliburton!", they roared.

Never mind that the biggest defense contractor under Bill Clinton was Halliburton.... and Obama too....

Its not just the politicians. It’s your fellow leftist citizens. The politicians echo what their voters want to hear. Islamist terrorists throw two bombs at the police and where’s their outrage? The mayor of a major city condemns the protestors and not the bomb throwers and they’re not outraged. And the same mayor hosts another terror supporter right after. Crickets. It’s just an extension of the BLM riots of 2020 and the anti Ice protests still happening now. The blue cities let criminal illegals out only to victimize more Americans. Constant chaos and upheaval. Most revolutions take mere single digits of the population to pull off. Seems like they have the numbers.

NEAL E CADORETTE's avatar

Sure, let’s take the Boston Police Dept. They reported they released 57 criminal illegals who had ICE detainers. DHS says it was actually 167. Who’s keeping the stats? Stephanie Minter’s killer bas been in the United States since 2012. He’s had an ICE detainer since 2020 and has been arrested thirty times. What’s the chances Stephanie Minter is alive if he had been removed after being arrested before she was killed? Probably 100%. Fairfax County released another criminal illegal and he killed a person the next day. You’re further proof that your fellow Americans don’t matter to you. You bring up some nonsensical talking point that can’t be verified to minimize human life. Shocking from the party of death

Cheesefrog's avatar

I wonder what the stats would show if they calculated it per crime instead of by population?

dan's avatar

Neal, you sound just like your Orange Jesus. I wonder how that could have happened???

NEAL E CADORETTE's avatar

And the case in point arrives

dan's avatar

I live a short train ride from Mayor Mamdani. I’d ask him your questions in person, but I’m afraid to risk the chaos and upheaval on the subways caused by hordes of criminal illegals waiting to victimize me.

BOO!!!

You should be more afraid of the murderous Muslims.

dan's avatar

Imagine typing that out, reading it, and still hitting “reply.” I hope you were able to find a similarly racist wife to embrace all of you!

Glen Franklin Koontz's avatar

I hate to break it to you, but Muslim is not a race. Sorry.

NEAL E CADORETTE's avatar

Stephanie Minter’s parents have to live with it as well as many others. I guess if it isn’t you or yours, it doesn’t matter to you, if you’re a Democrat or a cretin(one and the same). Proving my point, thanks. How is society safer when Democrats refuse to hand over criminal illegal aliens over to ICE to be deported?

dan's avatar

Dude, have you never taken a statistics class? Anyone can share an anecdote about anything, but anecdotes prove nothing. Actual statistics show that foreign born immigrants - documented or undocument - are no more likely to commit violent crimes than native born Americans. What you're sharing is typical MAGA fear mongering. It's the same thing Fox News does by bringing a snowball into the studio in April to "prove" that the Earth isn't warming.

Glen Franklin Koontz's avatar

FALSE! Those statistics are skewed due to the fact that many law enforcement agencies are not reporting illegal alien crimes (in blue States), or prosecutors are purposefully lowering charges, or dismissing charges altogether (again, in blue States).

But it really does not matter. Every illegal alien has committed at least 1 crime. They are not supposed to be here. And if they are not here, they cannot commit more crimes.

John Phillips's avatar

What % of crimes would they commit if they were not here?

Rock Beasley's avatar

Do you have actual statistical evidence on crime or are you just parroting a quote from the MSM that is repeated ad nauseam in a multitude of articles without attribution?

The only logical outcome for Trump, and really the civilized world, is the annihilation of the Iranian regime.

But most of the West is led by appeasers and thier rationalizers, Richard Hasse is a national disgrace.

I don’t have a problem giving our men and women steak and lobster, but it makes a lot more sense to use those resources on struggling veterans, fixing VA healthcare, and making sure no one who fought for the country is homeless.

Most likely different parts of the budget, sure, but if there’s that much for steak and lobster, why the hell is veteran healthcare so atrocious? Priorities are never in line in Washington. Hashtag Deport DC

The Left has always had a strange sympathy with the Ayatollahs as fellow revolutionaries. Even though the Islamists purged the Leftists from their ranks after they took power in Iran, the same sympthathies still hold. I think part of it is pure political coalition building and adapting to changing demographics in Western countries. The larger part is ideology and a mutual hatred of Western Civilization. Overall, the Left has always had a strange ignorance of the horrors that normally follow "decolonization".

In the case of Iran and the Middle East, they simply ignore the danger that a regime like Iran getting possession of a nuclear weapon would have for us and the region. The problem is a lack of equilibrium they say. The Iran Deal under the Obama administration was an attempt at create balance between Israel and Iranian spheres of influence but in reality it kicked the can down the road on Iran's nuclear program and embolden Iran to fund it's terror proxies.

The truth is is that Trump is cleaning up Obama's mess. The Democrats don't want to admit their mistakes in the region, they don't want to see the threat Iran poses to the global order (even as the Iranians bomb their Arab neighbors and try to close the Strait of Hormuz), and they can't admit that Trump is right about anything. So we end up with stories like this steak and lobster nothingburger. It's a useless distraction from a party that cares more about posturing for the midterms than advancing American interests in the world. A lot can happen in this war and my prayers is that despite the uncertainty, America comes out on top. That is the only there can be peace in the region. But one thing that we can be certain of is that the Democrats will be against an American victory out of partisan and ideological spite.

I’ve forgotten already: how did we manage to navigate air travel before Bush’s TSA?

Kathy's avatar

I remember going to the airport, checking in, walking directly to the gate, sometimes with people seeing me off and waiting at the gate when I arrived. No lines to get property and person searched. Seemed to me people were relatively polite, dressed like humans, and the airline folks were nice too. I only flew a couple of times after TSA and I hated it with an all abiding passion. I won't fly again.

Joe Hatfield's avatar

Going through TSA is a pain, but I'll tell you what.... as a frequent traveler, it's nice to be able to walk through the airport, find a seat while waiting for a connecting flight, use the restroom and get a seat at a restaurant/bar without having to fight for the same spaces with a bunch of non-traveling well-wishers and gate greeters... people who really have no business being there. While it's nice that the whole family is there to see little Sally off back to college, or half the neighborhood showing up at the gate to welcome Jack and Jill back from their honeymoon.... all these extra people in the way makes it much more difficult and stressful for legitimate travelers.

Kathy's avatar

Ah, well I only had one person with me or maybe two meeting me. I see your point about the whole extended family being there.

Joe Hatfield's avatar

I'm not against well-wishers and gate greeters in principle.... I think it's great... I'm just looking at it in a more logistical and "ease-of-travel" way.

Dems will proudly tell you that they are concerned only for their own welfare. if they could take everything you own and pass it out to their friends they would do it without hesitation.

The democrat party leadership is flirting with borderline treason and sedition!!!

dennis mcconaghy's avatar

Does Trump have the capaity to see this through to the end?

Or will he retreat?

Escalation is inevitable.

But is he up to it?

David Darnell's avatar

My guess is no. I'd still bet at some point he declares victory and just leaves. But what he will do if Iran keeps Strait closed after that is anybody's guess.

You know who's 'struggling to get by' Rep. Crow? TSA agents and other DHS emoloyees who are missing paychecks because of you and your Dem cronies failing to fund DHS.

You know who's struggling to get by, Rep. Dingel? People in YOUR home state of MI (and other parts of the country) whose lives have been devastated because of tornadoes and can't get the help they need because FEMA isn't funded.

Everyday Americans are missing flights due to TSA waits of 4-5 hours because of the Dems' blatant partisanship, rabid TDS, and their putting illegal immigrants over American citizens.

So spare me the crocodile tears and pearl clutching, Dems. Do your jobs, and help the people who elected you.

Nancy Irey's avatar

The behavior of the Democrats in these alarming times is egregious. Time and again we're shown they care nothing for U.S. citizens. That they will not fund DHS at a time when we still do not know for sure who came into this country illegally is appalling. Is Congress still being paid during this shutdown because they shouldn't be - this is the 3rd shutdown in less than 2 years and it's getting ridiculous!

Vi Newbold's avatar

It is a shameful and pathetic picture of our America. And how did we get here?!? We Americans have chosen to abandon the weekly/daily worship of Our Father Almighty and replaced that commitment with worship of ourselves and our varied lifestyles. Some are now coming back, while many are still headed over the cliff with their choices. Yet, we are still subject to the judgments of Our Father God—Jehovah.

Erick, the $93 billion was spent in September 2025, so it has nothing to do with the war with Iran. For anybody who actually wants to learn more about this issue, rather than simply using this as a reason to enjoy hating Democrats, check out a Substack called Open The Books.

Rick Williamson's avatar

I may be wrong but I don't think Erick was saying the money was spent for the Iran conflict. I think he was simply pointing out the 'It's okay if our guy does it' hypocrisy of the Dems.

As previous US deaths in Syria and/or Jordan have shown, the term 'combat zone' isnt fixed solely to places where hostilities are underway.

Again... I may be wrong.

EG's avatar

I may be wrong as well. But the title of his post was “Democrats Side With The Mullahs,” which seemed wildly unfair and, given the timeframe when the purchases occurred, off-target.

Erick-Woods Erickson's avatar

Correct, but there have been service members around the world on bases who get those meals. Likewise, the upgrades like the piano, ice cream machines, etc. were for legitimate purposes. We've got the paper trail. It's not like Hegseth was spending the money on himself.

EG's avatar

That’s fair; Democrats’ “Hegseth the grifter” comments seem unjustified. But it certainly seems like some of the purchases were intended to benefit the brass, including a grand piano for the Chief of Staff’s house and the Herman Miller furniture.

rich jann's avatar

Right on Erick! You know, as a generally Conservative individual I do support many of the things our president and the Republicans are doing. That said, as a free thinking American, I do not support their lack of strategy when he comes to The Save Act, (as an example). And, their are Republicans so far to the Right they are no better than the Democrats who are off the rails on the Left. That said, Republican values do more closely align with mine by a long shot. Add to that antics like the Dem's distorted and totally misleading account of the money Pete Hegseth has spent on the Military e.g. the food items It is so outrageous & yet another lie in a long line of misleading statements from the Democrats, from the border is secure and closed, crime/inflation are transient and all the crap about transgender mutilization of children it is sickening to me. I will tell you this, in the past I have been open to voting on whom I believe was the best person for the job. Now however, that position will change and it will never be a Democratic Candidate again! It could be an Independent or of course a Republican, but it won't be a Democrat. They are flat out nuts and yes I do believe they hate this country and truly love power and control. In closing, I wonder how the folks in Virginia feel about "moderate candidate" Abigail Dpanberger and how she has governed in her first month or so versus what she has said on the campaign trail! More lies and untruths...

Southern Planter's avatar

Even if the Republican candidate is a convicted felon, con-man, adulterer, corrupt enricher of himself and his family, and a traitor to our Constitution? Oh, wait.
