Joe Manchin looks good in the eyes of West Virginians (and many others), Stacey Abrams has marginalized and discredited herself in the eyes of the progressives, and the progressives (and VP Kammy) look like the spoiled neo-totalitarians they are - and conservatives did none of this; instead, they just sat on the sidelines and let Joe Biden do their hatchet work for them, probably without Biden even realizing what he did. Even better: AG Garland gives us even more reason to justify the Republicans' decision not to confirm him to SCOTUS. Perfect!

Erick, thanks for your insight. Telling everyone I know to vote for Kemp. Hoping maybe Sonny Perdue will run for Senate now that Board of Regents named an acting chancellor. Seems like he could win the Senate seat.

Is this just not the most vivid illustration of a party that is drifting without a leader to chart a course for them? There are so many bratty little kids vying for attention (hello Stacey Queen of Suppression, Sandy Occasional Cortex, Kalamity Harris and a plethora of others) that nobody knows what to do next. Meanwhile Ol' Joe shuffles along pretending to do important things. Why in the world would Atty Gen Garland allow himself to be used this way? It's all very amusing and I hope they all are enjoying themselves riding along in the Clown Car. Meanwhile, GO, GEORGIA! GO, BRIAN KEMP. KICK ASS!

I could not agree more. Not only is there no leadership but no core values except to get re-elected and maintain their power and the gravy train. This is the best news. Meanwhile #desantis2024 and I can't wait for 2022.

I've received 6 emails in the last hour telling me that the "restrictive" or "common sense" (depending on their POV) voting laws recently passed in Georgia are going to be overturned, and I can help (either to have them overturned or have them upheld), if I just send money.

I can’t even comment. GA looks like a total mess and the DOJ is now a full-out joke. Appreciate your more than fair analysis Erick, but there’s far more going on than meets the eye. I think Kemp is toast.

I was talking about you on radio today and how much I miss seeing you. Got on a subject of my favorite bosses and you are 100% on the list.

That is so nice of you Erick! I always enjoyed working with you. Next time I get to GA we should try and get together. During impeachments one and two, I’d always thought about how we got Tom to drop his impeach Obama campaign. Government is certainly proving itself unreliable at best. Big Government is flat out scary. Let’s all keep fighting!!!

I couldn't disagree more with your opinion of what Georgia looks like right now. I think we are in the CatBird seat and leading on the issue along with several other states.. Good for Brian Kemp and I hope he will stomp all contenders into the dirt where they belong - in particular Stacey the Large and Whois Vernon Jones.

Georgia Republican voters stayed home and gave rise to Senator “Warlock”. They are a mess.

It certainly seems like that contributed to the current situation. But I’ll bet now that people see what is happening they’ll be out in force for 2022. Plus other closet Republicans who are really Democrats.

Agree 100%

Excellent analysis. How does either Stacy Abrams OR Donald Trump have ANY credibility at all in Georgia? I wish we had Brian Kemp as Governor here in my state of Washington. Would be a massive improvement.

I will take DeSantis.

I couldn't wait to hear Erick's analysis on this today. And you are precisely correct. I supported Trump but he picked the wrong governor and the wrong state to try and smack down. There are a few governors in this country right now who are leading on all of these issues and I'm proud ours is one of them.
