First, one bit of housekeeping. We’re starting to grow our Rumble video channel. If you have an account over there, please subscribe to our channel. It’s free. If you want to get my podcast, live stream, etc. just text ERICK to the number 33777.
Second, if you are near Georgia, on Friday night I’ll do a special discussion at the Governor’s Gun Club in Kennesaw, Georgia. By then, we will have a good sense if Herschel Walker can win without a runoff. If you’re present, you’ll be the first to know. You can show up early and check out the gun range and a selection of bourbons with a VIP ticket. Show up for just the talk and Q&A with a general admission ticket. VIPs show up at 5pm. General Admission is at 7pm. Go here for tickets.
Third, I must admit I am flabbergasted by the rapid turn of Democrats to “voters are killing democracy by voting.” I mentioned Max Boot yesterday. Matthew Dowd on MSNBC went straight to Nazi comparisons.
According to Dowd, he isn’t saying voters are voting Nazi, but by voting for pocketbook issues, voters could be bringing about the rise of the Nazis in this country.
What Democrats cannot bring themselves to do is admit their environmental policies have put us in this position. And now, today, the situation is turning even more ominous.
Here’s Saudi Arabia’s oil minister, Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, explaining that countries that wiped out their oil reserves *cough* the United States *cough* will see their oil supply situation “become painful in the months to come.”
For those having trouble understanding him, he says that countries have oil reserves for emergencies, and some have chosen to empty their reserves for reasons other than emergencies. As a result, these countries’ economic and oil access situations “may become painful in the months to come.”
This should be a national security red alert for the United States. When Donald Trump sought to fill the reserves at $24.00 a barrel, Democrats blocked it. Now, Biden is further draining the reserves, and the price to fill will be closer to $90.00 a barrel. We don’t have the money with a $31 trillion debt.
In this country and globally, inflation has been caused in large part by energy prices. The Biden Administration has put all the blame on Russia, but actually, western environmentalists are owed a lot of blame. They have curtailed oil leases in the United States. They have increased regulations and red tape, making current leases less profitable for exploration. They have reduced access to oceanic drilling and drilling on federal land.
The media and left keep making excuses, including claiming Biden has actually generated more production than under two years of Trump. Yes, but Trump’s first year had to escalate from Obama curtailing production and COVID cramped exploration in Trump’s last year. Biden is now on track to produce even less oil.
Environmentalists won’t accept responsibility. The Democrats spin it to avoid responsibility. Meanwhile, winter is coming, and Saudi Arabia has taken such a hostile footing to Joe Biden’s administration that they’re pre-emptively warning us of harm.
All we have to do is drill here and drill now. That the left won’t is causing economic turmoil and forcing voters’ hands.
Yes, the environmentalists and the Biden environmental policies are pushing voters to the GOP with crime as the icing on the GOP cake of issues. Do you want to stop the GOP? It’s too late. You should have started pumping oil out of the ground on day one, stopped canceling pipelines, and kept ANWR open.
If someone gets the blame for killing democracy, it’s the environmentalists. But actually, our democracy is going to be fine.
About the Pennsylvania Debate
The NBC News reporter, Dasha Burns, savaged by the left for noting John Fetterman’s problems, is owed an apology. That debate was truly painful. Notable, the moderators called Dr. Oz “Mr. Oz,” while the press demands we call Jill Biden “Dr. Biden.”
Don’t take my word for it; just read the two tweets.
It was bad — like painful to watch the debate bad. I suspect we’re about to hear the media openly ponder a sympathy vote for a man whose incapacity much of the press covered up.
One more from my friend Leland Vittert:
Is John Fetterman’s wife pushing him to do this like Jill Biden pushed her husband? It is just very sad to see someone that enfeebled on stage and helpless.
Walker v Fetterman
You will note that all the voices telling you Herschel Walker is unfit for the United States are, overnight, doing their damndest to claim Fetterman is different. Walker, at least, won his debate. Even the national press noted Walker did what he had to do.
The people who hate Walker for his past and cannot forgive, show grace, or move on, want a double standard for Fetterman.
Stacey Abrams's 15 Minutes of Fame Are Up
Stacey Abrams is toast. Her fifteen minutes of fame are up. She has lost, and her next steps could very well cost Raphael Warnock his Senate seat.
You need to understand there is not much love between Abrams and Warnock. Abrams felt like Warnock was stepping on her time in the spotlight. Abrams’ supporters were particularly aggrieved at press reports suggesting Warnock, not Abrams, could be a 2024 contender for President. Abrams covets the presidency relentlessly.
Well, Abrams is pulling her TV ad buys in Georgia. She had been spending $2 million a week. She’s cut that in half, at least. She’s out of money. Abrams had the grassroots turn-out-the-vote machine in Georgia. It has collapsed.
Abrams running out of money and withdrawing ads could impact Warnock’s ability to get his own voters out. Everyone, despite what they claim, had relied on the clearly mythological Abrams machine.
Abrams is sunk. She will be fine if Warnock sinks with her. Abrams could go from the savior of the Democrats to the scapegoat for their losses pretty fast in the next two weeks. But she’ll always be President of Earth.
I Voted For Herschel Walker
Please go here and I’ll explain why I voted for Herschel over the “Reverend” Raphael Warnock.
"There are women," returned my uncle, "some of them of the most admired, who are slaves to a demoniacal love of power. The very pleasure of their consciousness consists in the knowledge that they have power--not power to do things, but the power to make other people do things."
"The Flight of the Shadow" - George Macdonald
We can dedicate this one to Mrs. Biden and to Mrs. Fetterman
That’s “President of United Earth.” Can’t forget the “United” part but it’s all about democracy as long as everyone votes for them.
