Ok. But here is my perspective. Big Food and Big Pharna are killing everyone. I will put up with his other off views if he reverses the trend back to healthy whole food, and stops presciotion drug advertising, etc.

When I reread all the comments a question came to my mind: If President Trump called you to ask about his choosing Kennedy would you tell him that he doesn’t know enough about being president and thus is making a big mistake in picking Kennedy? If not, why not because that is what many are implying here. You trusted Donald Trump with your vote but don’t trust him enough to make the right personnel decision. How odd!

For the third time I will say this. Watch Senator Hawley from MO. He is definitely a pro-life Senator and his wife works for Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) which was instrumental in the overturning of Roe - both are long time pro-life advocates. Sorry Erick, I will trust him more than you.

Curious. Watch Senator Hawley in regards to what?

On the RFK nomination. He is on the committee that will oversee RFK's nomination.

Remember this Erick: Saul was a real shithead until one day on the road he met this guy, saw the light and became a true believer. Maybe, you should emulate the guy on the road and cut RFK a little slack. Oh, while you are thinking about this, name one person God selected to do a job who, on the surface, was perfectly qualified for it. ………..Still waiting for your answer.

I have no allusions that RFK Jr. has become a conservative. Of course he has not. And, while I disagree with so many of the things he professes, I also realize that the physical health of our citizens is nearing a crisis situation. RFK Jr., like Trump, is a disruptor. He will create debate and cause needed change in the area of health. I disagree with his positions on climate change, fossil fuels, Second Amendment, etc. But that does not mean he cannot do valuable work in the context of DHHS. If he steps out of the health lane, and tries to influence areas outside of his arena, he can be fired. But I think he can energize great change regarding the physical health of our nation.

Erick,

The link in your posting doesn't even appear to be the real x account for the Senators. Why are you using this instead of your standard text system that seemed to works so well?

Yeah, but He also helped the Dear Leader get elected and said nice things about him, so all is forgiven. Same way Tic Toc will be forgiven for spying on the USA for China. Same way cop beaters are pardoned. Same way a platoon leader says nice things about Trump on FOX and gets nominated to run the DOD. It's all transactional, you know.

Expand full comment

It is transactional enough that DT is making the calls, not Kam Harris. So you don't care for Jimmy Carter's half-nephew RFK,Jr?

Is this comment somehow supposed to make sense?

I’m no longer surprised that so many so-called “Republicans” support a Leftist like RFK Jr.. Trump said, “I’m not Conservative.” - and that didn’t hurt him whatsoever.

I have no use of RFK for any reason period

Do you have a suggestion for that position that is not tied to big pharmaceutical company’s has a real plan for the drug problem and is willing to defund the abortion industry and is not a member of congress or a professional swamp dweller? In my opinion if the Democrats hate a Democrat that bad maybe he’s not that bad Trump can keep his leash a little short if he has to. Me personally I kinda like knowing what’s in my food

I am being mean, he should be rejected due to his voice. He would appear to have a problem, perhaps a tumor, of his glossopharyngeal nerve.

It’s not a tumor. He revealed years ago that he has a neurological disease called Spasmodic Dysphonia.

I get his thoughts on the farmers (and I am not for RFK) but blaming farmers for getting paid by the govt to do the things they’re doing is like blaming the poor for being poor when the govt pays them to be poor. We need govt help. I am 100% against RFK but no conservative that I know who has passion has stepped up to say they’d do the same things for our food and medicine. But certainly someone is out there

It's not going to matter. You are, of course, correct, but it's not going to matter. RFK Jr will be confirmed, and greater damage to that department and America will be done. I will be shocked if Senate GOP members manage to arise and do the right thing with this nomination.

I'm not sure about Kennedy, but the reality of choosing a team is, not everyone thinks lock-step with the leader.

BUT...

Everyone should take direction from the leader.
