Erick just helped me decide to vote Collins. I was torn, and Loeffler has done nothing wrong, but that's not enough. Only question for me is : Who will run a better run-off campaign? That's Collins. Kemp appointed her, so he should have mentored her a bit. She clearly does not have good advice, and comes across to me as doing this Senate thing as a hobby. Sorry, Kelly.

I confess I am not enamored of our Governors choice for Senate. I don’t completely buy his reason for picking Loeffler over Collins and continue to wonder what the real story is there. She has been mismanaged from the start and the fact that she lacks authenticity of voice and opinions is a glaring result of that. If she wins we will have been deprived of an experienced, authentic conservative and a recognized leader in Doug Collins and that is a shame and a blow to Georgia. I hope Republicans will hold this position but if we lose to the leading Democrat we will have our Governor to thank for fouling things up. I’ve already voted and Doug got my vote.

If there is an admirable feature of the Democratic Party, it is that they stick together to pass legislation supported by the bulk of the party. Whether in Congress or in the Courts, the GOP often seems to have a dissenting minority glad to partner with the other side to sink the policies of their own party. I think both Loeffler and Collins would be reliable votes for the GOP agenda and would not be among that dissenting group.. From a perspective outside GA, that makes either one an acceptable Senator worthy of supporting.
