Wow, is Project 2025 a 1619 Project spin-off?

Bessent also has a male "husband" and "they" have two "sons" residing in Charleston SC. Trump has lost what was left of his mind. He clearly has no moral compass!

The most serious problem is Tulsi gabbard. She is a Russian sympathizer and will be supervising the 18 different intelligence gathering agencies. She will be the final determination of what things mean and policy decisions will be made on the basis of that.

Call your Senators! These picks have to go! Soros destroyed one country by devaluing their money and then Bessett & Soros made a ton shorting the pound in UK, are we next? Then Rep. Chavez-Deremer of Oregon, one we want school, don't need anyone Weingarten supports, not pro union . What have they put in his McD's?

Presidents in the past have filled their cabinets with opposites. Having them close by could be an advantage.

It's like Deja-vu all over again. Just about the time you start to get comfortable with the guy, he kicks you in the cajones with moves like this. Insert Forrest Gump quote here: "Trump is like a box of chocolates; you never know what yer gonna' get."

Why am I not surprised? And yes, who is advising him? Is he trying to throw a bone to the progressives? Trump seems to constantly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Perhaps this is a clever chess move rather than 2-card Monte. Who on earth is shuffling the deck?

True. People tend to forget that Trump, omitting the past 9 or 10 years, was a lifelong Democrat.

Congratulations, Donny. The worst pick by a Republican president since David Souter.

Hopefully the Senate will save us from these latest Trump missteps, along with Gabbard, Hegseth, and Kennedy. However, I fear that the more Trump forces the Senate to rein him in, the more determined he will be to charge ahead with his stupid ideas that they cannot block, the most destructive being his highly inflationary across-the-board 20% tariffs, for which he needs no congressional approval to impose. Can't help but regret that with any other Republican candidate (with the exception of Vivek) we could have had good conservative policies without the almost daily trips to Crazy Town.

Have you ever worked with your hands? I belonged to a union as a young Reaganite. The union leadership constantly sent out their alarmist drivel, and it worked with some. But we are in a different era. If you don't think Sean O'Brien had an impact on this election, I don't know what to say. I am for this pick. I'll predict that the NEA and AFT will be singing a different song in a few months. And what little I know about Bessent, he's a deficit hawk, and does indeed favor tariffs as a bargaining tool. This was a coalition campaign; it will be a coalition administration, for which I am happy.

I am with you 100 percent. While I’m glad the Harris ticket was defeated we will have four years of chaos with Trump I’m afraid. I was heartsick that deSantis was not the nominee.

At least one of the picks was a Republican isn’t she?

She just lost to a democrat in Oregon.

We have to do some further investigating on them. Confirmations aren’t until Jan so let’s hold off excoriation before we get that far.

Bessent seems OK. Chavez is a hard no.

Hell, I'd love to have Soros' money man managing my investments.

The fact that Weingarten supports her is a big tell and a big red flag.
