Stephanie Ruhle is not an ethical journalist. Just google her name and “Under Armor”. She is a partisan who, just last week, dismissed Kamala Harris’s need to answer tough questions.
Naturally, Harris gave Ruhle an interview after Ruhle’s performance on Bill Maher’s show. Ruhle did not disappoint with a series of softball questions like this one:
But then she tried another softball question with Harris and it absolutely confounded Harris. Just listen to this question and answer.
Does the lady not know how Washington works? “Because they have to” is not substance or policy. It is ignorance. Ruhle asked a very basic question — if Harris can’t get a corporate tax increase, where will she get the money to do what she wants? Harris responded that the corporate tax rate simply must be increased.
That’s not a serious or substantive answer. It is shallow ignorance.
Ruhle tried to do no harm in her interview and wound up showing just how much of a vapid walking word salad Harris actually is.
Don’t Go There With Eric Adams
I’m already seeing rightwing trolls suggest that Eric Adams, the Mayor of New York City, has been indicted by the Biden Administration’s Justice Department, for daring to speak out on illegal aliens.
He has so offended the Biden Administration that he and Joe Biden were dining together when word came of the indictment by the U.S. Attorney in New York.
Please, people, do not fall for the lie from the trolls that this is about illegal aliens.
Eric Adams is accused of knowingly taking money from a foreign government for his election and then advancing that government’s agenda. Specifically, though the indictment is sealed right now, the credible allegation is that Adams took money from Turkey for his campaign and, in exchange, promised to get a Turkish consulate approval, which the Turkish government wanted.
The corruption was self-serving and had nothing to do with illegal aliens. On top of that, Adams has failed to keep New York safe, clean, or competently functional. He is not the hero or the anti-hero. He is someone allegedly willing to take foreign money to advance his political career.
Even though NYC Mayor Adams is accused of taking foreign money, the timing of this indictment, 10 months after Adams had publicly come against the current presidential administration one of the issues of the day, seems to be political. About VP Harris's interview with Stephanie Ruhle, I wonder the motives of her publicly saying that Harris did not really answer the questions?
Interesting how Turkey keeps popping up in these sordid events…
