I forgot the show was on so only tuned in about halfway. I don't know why anyone would be so upset about it. I didn't learn one single thing that I didn't already know. I'm guessing the amount of votes swayed to one side or the other is less than one.

I did not watch nor will I watch any of the candidate debates during the primaries or the general election. I haven’t watched them for years because they are all theater - and not very good theater. This is the Left’s playbook which CNN is assisting in. Pump up Trump, convince wavering Republicans that he can beat Biden and then when he wins the Republican nomination turn on a dime and go full bore on him. Biden - if he makes it to the election because most people believe he is mentally and physically unable to continue as President - will run on keeping and promoting legalized infanticide and that Trump is the second coming of Hitler.

The only wild card is if they have to dump Biden. Be prepared for Michelle to come out of the wings to run as Obama’s 4th term and the first black female president. The Dems have a fairly secure electoral college lock with the changes to the election laws in states like Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Michigan and New Mexico that all allow for massive mail in ballots. These laws are tailor made for the low information voter who get their political information from the legacy media and the overarching culture.

God save us…

You're right, they do have to dump Biden. I can't imagine any scenario where the Democrat powers that be don't recognize this. I'm sure there is a plan in place, or at least in the works. In a normal situation they would fall back on the VP, but this is not feasible with Harris so they either have to leapfrog her with another candidate or remove her as well.

I'm with you in thinking that Michelle is the secret weapon and they will retrieve the launch codes when the timing is right. I don't see any way that she could lose to anyone. She checks all the right boxes so we can all feel good about ourselves, and of course has the name brand of the most beloved President of all time, he who was better than every other President and all the founding fathers rolled into one. At least that's the way the MSM has written history.

By all accounts she just doesn't want the job, but I can't believe that she couldn't be coerced into duty by BHO, et al. I mean, we all know who would actually be calling all the shots so she would just have to be a proxy leader, and they already know how to do that in practice with Biden.

I believe her perceived reticence is a media ploy. She doesn't want to appear like Hillary as desperately wanting to be President. She is a political animal as her early career seems to indicate and she is media-savvy. "I really don't want to run, but if you all insist and my country needs me to fend off the bad old orange man, I will do it."

I think you nailed it.

Well said Erick!

For four years we laughed at leftists who couldn't come to grips with how bad their chosen one was in Hillary Rodham Clinton. She lost. They couldn't rationalize that and made up a myth, a fiction, a story shrouded in an enigma covered in lie after lie to explain away how someone like Trump could have possibly beaten their anointed and sainted HRC.

You election deniers on the right are doing the same thing, and you deserve to be laughed at just like they were. Please stop it. Accept that America would rather have a dottering old dementia patient destroying the country than Donald J. Trump. Let's move forward together. If we do, we can capture the halls of government for at least eight years and possible much, much longer. If you don't, you'll be relegated to the laughing stock like Adam Schiff and his zero evidence kangaroo court escapades. History will not be kind to you. God bless and Godspeed.

Trump is a creation of the mainstream media. The loony "town hall" last night on the failing CNN is proof. Trump and the media are co-dependents; Trump is in for the attention, the media for the ratings.

This goes all the way back to the '80's, when Trump's sleazy behavior was on all the front pages of the tabloids.

I don't trust either one.

I spent less than 5 minutes watching/listening to DJT on CNN. The man needs to get a grip on reality.

To be clear, I did not vote for Trump during his first primary run, but I voted for him for President in 2016. He was my president, and I was proud of many things that he did. I voted for him in 2020, and I believe that the election was most likely rigged in several ways (probably not via votes being filtered through Eastern European countries tho).

I find myself back to 2016 - I will not vote for him in the primary. But if he is the Republican nominee, I will have no problem voting for him for President in 2024.

He is a front runner for president so he has to be covered. He is also a morally unfit, bankrupt human being who has no place near a presidential seat of any kind. Two things can be true and life can still go on.

Well said.

This is more of an aside comment, as I don’t watch television.

That said, I was eating breakfast the other day in a hotel and CNN was airing a Trump campaign attack on DeSantis.

Huh? I get primary attacks on one’s opponent. But Trump paying CNN for the air time to broadcast the attack? Makes no sense to this simple country boy.

That is the Left's playbook. "Oponentes" are both actual and potential. More you keep from becoming actual the better.

Rules for Radicals..

Rule 5: Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It's hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. "If your people aren't having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong..."

His base loves it.

Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it.

And Trump owned Collins, the town hall, the audience and the night. CNN clearly set a trap and got owned. Trump haters still hate. His lovers love even more and money bet he won more independents and undecideds than he lost. Trump 1. CNN and the left 0. Actually -1 for the clowns.
