If that decision was the only thing which had occurred, you would have been right. But several things appear to have broken the Dems’ way over the past 30 days (or at least the nonstop left media keeps telling us so). The Politico link in today’s show notes offers some glimmer of hope on the House side,

even if the Republicans screw up every other opportunity they have had. Senate probably stays Dem, I’m afraid, but appreciate you offering some optimism!

“…win big in November.” I disagree. Americans will squander any chance and hand our republic back to the marxists.

Don’t believe me? Ask anyone you meet who their Legislators are. They have ZERO idea who is representing them.

Eric,

What you say may be true but only for the folks that have no concept of what the SCOTUS decision really means. It does not prevent abortions but rightfully returns that decision , where it should have been all along i.e, to the states. If the citizens of the state in which they reside favor abortions and vote on it and it passes, that's the resolution. If it does not, well they can try again or accept the majority's opinion or just move to another state . That is democracy.

The problem is that there is a huge number of people who aren't informed. Every day I see people who think the conceal carry law means anyone can get a gun without a permit or background check, so I'm sure those people don't understand the Dobbs decision as well. Anecdotally it seems like it's the same demographic that turned the tide in the last election cycle- white, college-educated women. I don't know if they are highly susceptible to suggestion or what. With the guns they religiously follow the talking points, with most of them referring to the current environment as the wild, wild west. They all didn't come up with that slogan on their own.
