I would find the various pronouncements of various of the Bidenauts endlessly amusing, were they not so clearly in favor of "equity", which in many ways is justifying their racism in the name of correcting historical racism. And for Pete "The Pothole King of South Bend" Buttigieg https://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2020/12/16/buttigieg-critics-he-couldnt-even-fill-potholes-in-south-bend-n2581670 to opine on the alleged racism of roads and bridges is rich with irony. Tell me, Mr. Secretary, just how many poor African-American citizens of South Bend found themselves having the "pothole tax" levied when their cars suffered damage after encountering some of South Bend's tank traps, er, potholes might just consider your failing to repair your town's scabrous streets racist in its own way?

Classic republican rhetoric. Things are not as racist as you Dems (read: Blacks and minorities) say that they are. In the first half of the 20th century, racism was absolutely the rule. It was not the exception. This is utter hogwash. I cant believe you're peddling this nonsense Erick. Shameful.

As usual, the people peddling hogwash are Democrats, specifically Buttigieg. The Washington Post had to walk support for his mangling of the story back. Maybe he should take some more maternity leave.

There has been some revisionism and [Robert] Moses’s achievements are now viewed in a better light. In particular, the anecdote about the parkway bridges has been increasingly questioned, along with other details in [Robert] Caro’s book,” Kessler wrote.

One historian told the Post that “Moses did nothing different on Long Island from any parks commissioner in the country” because all parkways had low bridges at the time.

“Caro is wrong,” a separate historian emailed to the Post, noting anyone could access the beach.

Other historians disagree in the polarizing tale, but the Post’s in-house fact-checker feels “The Bottom Line” is that the liberal newspaper shouldn’t have been so quick to defend Buttigieg.

“Obviously this cannot be easily resolved. Caro quotes one of Moses’s top aides as saying the height of the bridges was done for racist reasons, but increasingly that story has been questioned as not credible,” Kessler wrote. “Buttigieg should tailor his remarks to reflect what is historically unimpeachable — and we should be more careful to double-check on the latest views of historians. Even a Pulitzer Prize-winning book is not always the last word on a subject.”

Like I said before, republicans in GA are freaking spineless. You want to express your displeasure with the parole board here's the link to the board members.

https://pap.georgia.gov/board-members Funny how all but one of them mentions being members of or being involved in Church. Freaking hypocrites.

Find your local rep here https://georgia.gov/who-represents-you My local rep Lynn Smith is absolutely worthless, doesn't even respond to calls or emails.

My wife told me about this last night. What are they going to come up with next.

Just heard you talking about Brunswick and St. Simon's. The next time you are down there you should go eat at B&J's in Darien. Best fried shrimp in the South.
