Nothing to disagree with on your analysis, guess it’s Walker all the way. And thank you for your participation in World magazine’s post election analysis last night. Appreciate your’s and the other guests comments regarding going forward, especially in regards to the abortion issue. Best wishes and prayers for your wife and you in dealing with the medical issues.

I have a question about SS? A Democrat friend of mine keeps telling me that if the Republicans win the Senate that they plan to do a way with SS? I have personally not heard this but she tells me she has heard Republican Senators on TV say they will if they win the senate back! Is this true or if not, how do I address this?

It’s not true.

The Libertarian candidate spoiled this election. Those votes would likely have gone to Walker. Republicans AND Libertarians MUST go back and vote on 12/6 in big numbers, in order to get control of the Senate.

The Republicans and Herschel Walker were not entitled to a single vote, they have to earn those votes. The libertarian didn't spoil anything, he earned every vote he got.

This two-party mindset is infuriating, battling this stupid idea that either party is entitled to somebody's vote. As someone that voted for almost every libertarian I could, it makes me less likely to ever vote Republican again when I hear Republicans bad mouth people that vote libertarian as if we owe them our vote

I agree. I think, though, as mentioned below, that some independents just won’t vote for a Trump backed candidate such as Herschel. Maybe they’ll stay home? Somehow, I trust Herschel’s heart but bottom line, we need a one vote edge on Democrats to allay they’re tendency to take their slim Senate margin and insert their far left dreams. We need Kemp, Desantis, Scott, and others to flood the state for Herschel. Kelly Leoffler (sp), please continue getting out the vote? Our country will be better off without Chuck Schumer driving the Senate.

What the Republicans need are quality candidates. It really is that easy.

Herschel Walker may be a very honest and admirable man, but he is a terrible candidate.

Not going to compare Mr. Warnock’s past to Herschel’s. Seems they both have had issues. My support for Walker over Warnock is entirely predicated on what Warnock has done and will do as senator. To me Warnock is a terrible candidate because on orders from Mr. Schumer he’d vote to 1: pack the Supreme Court with left wing ideologues, 2: kill the fillibuster, 3: have federally controlled elections, 4: do nothing to secure our border, while insisting it is secure, 5: pass a federal law to allow abortions up to and just after birth, 6: help to allow subversion of our very youngest with things such as drag queen story hour, 7: destroy woman's sports by allowing transgender males to compete with women, 8: fund lying to our children with critical race theory and the 1619 project…and I could probably think of more things. So, just some reasons why I feel Mr. Warnock is a terrible candidate.

Why is he terrible? Have you been to a rally and heard him speak? His mistakes were when he was a younger man. He will do what’s right for Georgia, unlike Warnock, a fake preacher who supports abortion.

Most important is hearing that your wife has clean scans. Will keep Praying.

1. Praying for your wife.

2. Not sure about the “better candidate” idea. Like Tucker said; Fetterman won, was he a “better candidate?” Maybe it comes down to plain likability? That’s what I hear from friends/ family. “I vote for who I like”.

Also I wonder if Dr Oz’s Muslim religion was a factor? Some pollster should ask Pennsylvanians “do you think your neighbors vote was influenced by his religion?”

3. I may not like McConnell. But the man is BRILLIANT at politics. We should keep him.

4. I pray God will change President Trumps heart. His time as King is past. He could be an awesome King maker.

Blessings

On 4: my wife says she won't vote for someone who Trump supports. There are plenty of people out there that feel this way, I'm afraid.

I disagree slightly about your advice to "Stay off the TV...." Too few Repubs are seen on TV calling out the Dems, their policies and their lies. But unless they've got a message to defend or a plan to propose, I agree they need to stay off TV.

Prayers, as always, for your wife and family.

I keep wondering about what the Republican message really is. Sure, Walker says he’s for you and your family but so does Warnock, albeit in different contexts. I remember McCarthy coming out with some vague plan that was supposed to be like Newt’s “Contract with America.” It was light on specifics but it came out and was never heard from again, at least not to my knowledge. I think they also need to do a better job in their ads of explaining how inflation has been caused by government spending. I realize it’s only a 30 second ad but just saying it’s caused by government policies doesn’t tell the lay person much

#7: For many, you don’t. They were never Republicans. They were never conservatives. GOP candidates and policies do not appeal to a good chunk of core Trump voters. They only answer to Trump and he hooked them on a string of lies and fantasies.

Many prayers and thoughts for your wife and your family.

As for the runoff, we need to get Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and any strong Republican Senator out in force to campaign on behalf of Hershel Walker. Republican senators like Ted Cruz, John Kennedy and Tim Scott come right to mind. If they can be recruited to stump for Hershel that could be a strong influence for Georgia voters to go out and vote. It would benefit all.

Can we take a moment and celebrate Brad Raffensperger’s win?

Great advice to the Republicans. Let them be seen as a party desiring to benefit the country. They should make efforts (if they fail, so what) to make bi-partisan deals. Allow the public, as you say, "show you are not a threat."

And since we did not get an overwhelming majority in the midterm, Republicans cannot be blamed for the economy or foreign policy--or the extremism in the Democratic party. Control doesn't depend on overwhelming numbers.

I believe a Jewish writer observed, "Look how a small bit turns a mighty horse..."

According to Cook’s National House Vote tracker, Republican votes accounted for 52.3% (50.1 million) of all votes cast. I’m not sure turning Election Day into election season is the answer. Election season is an invitation for ballot harvesting and outright fraud. There should be an early vote period, but elections need to get back to being decided on Election Day. If it can be done in FL, GA and TX, it can be done anywhere. The only people that say it can’t be done are cheaters trying to manipulate the system by doing away with transparency.

I'm a combo of pissed off and waiting for an explanation.

A few weeks ago Erick talked of how the MSM, was turning on the Dems at the end...right on cue.

It made sense and was happening as the MSM was beginning to accept a red wave.

Every right leaning talking head was giddy about a red wave.

Then Erick had his favorite pollster on.

An interesting interview, but my feeling was the right was celebrating the win a bit early.

After that interview I kept thinking of "jumping the shark".

I don't know how Chris did with his clients, but it appears he spoke out of turn in other areas.

Now...NOW everyone seems to be moving on. Nothing to see here.

BS!

Don't distract with historical stories....

Where is the analysis of WTF happened here?

Mr. Erickson, praying for nothing but great results from your wife's scan.

And one last point on the election. Everyone and I mean everyone int this country needs an education on what democracy really means. Just sayin'.

Sorry y'all. For some reason Substack moves to "no comment" by default randomly and I had the comments off and didn't realize it. It is fixed.

Erick, sorry to focus on GA but where can we get the totals for GA House and Senate? Did we add R seats? I am very thankful my senate & house district went R, so we flipped those seats.
