Thank you for providing insights into the history and details of the current events in that region. Biden's inexplicable and unwavering commitment to appease Iran at any cost, coupled with a lack of decisive action, jeopardizes regional stability and grants Iran the ability to exert influence in conflicts through its terrorist proxies.

In the military, we would have used another term for what Iran and the Houthi's are "giving" to Jake Sullivan, but I won't go into that here...

Your titles are hilariously spot on! I believe that the female voice that reads your posts when I'm trying to multi-task (I said "trying") even giggled when she read it! Bravo! : )=)

Fewer scatological references, please.

Really? You mean I have to stop saying “Biden“?

We can make an exception for that 😁

And they continue to insult us by saying a Trump Presidency would be dangerous. Huh, as I remember the last time Trump held office, we had peace and prosperity. If not for the media and the Dems making stuff up - see Russia collusion - he’d likely have gotten even more dumb. The word to describe his opposition is to crude for this family column.

Dear Erick, I appreciate the insight into this situation.

After nearly 10 years of war against the Houthis by Saudi Arabia and U.S. supplied troops, the Houthis won. Sure, freeze their assets. But don’t put American boots on the ground in Yemen. It’s a trap. A new Vietnam. Instead let’s blockade Iran on the Persian Gulf. An act of war to stop a war.

The Biden administration is not now, nor has it ever been on the side of Americans. The administration is on its own side. It is totally out to show the world just how Enlighted it is. It could easily lead one to think they are anti-American, but it is not. Its only goal is to show the world it is not one of us common people. They have somehow evolved beyond the regular human experience. This attitude has shown itself time and time again by their refusal to fix anything.

• The border: their policy at the border has only expiated the issue, yet they choose to put on display how humanitarian they by taking them all in. Yet, they refuse to do anything to mitigate things, which would be more humanitarian. But they are beyond that.

• Fuel prices: they deliberately drove up prices in their desire to force us to use less. They refuse compromise on the issue insisting we go all electric. The mere mention of by bred vehicles is somehow considered beneath them. While at the same time pushing us toward the next crisis, the electric grid.

• Their refusal to stand up to our rivals: They will not take a strong stance against China by simply stating in no uncertain terms what they will and will not tolerate.

• Who the include in the administration: the first person of color, the first openly sexually ambivalent, the first female etc.… Not the most competent, not the most knowledgeable, nor the skillful.

In each case they have chosen to put on display the enlightenment. It is the high mindedness of it all.

My question is why don’t they do what’s necessary to freeze the funds?

"In response, the Biden Administration launched counter-measures against the Houthi in the form of press statements and hashtags." You're getting pretty good with these witty little slams! And this piece perfectly summarizes Trump's popularity...because people believe he won't put up with this crap.

Erickson: "On October 7, 2023, Hamas invaded Israel and killed thousands."

From France 24: "The final death toll from the attack is now thought to be 695 Israeli civilians, including 36 children, as well as 373 security forces and 71 foreigners, giving a total of 1,139. This excludes five people, among them four Israelis, still listed as missing by the prime minister's office."

What Hamas on October 7 did was abhorrent, but using hyperbole to describe it reduces the trustworthiness of us on the right. Please be accurate. Twelve hundred (or at least 1,139) murders is enough of an atrocity. We don't need to exaggerate it.

We all understand what Erick meant. But for clarity and accuracy, maybe he should have said "Hamas invaded Israel and killed, raped and wounded thousands" - that would be better.

I agree. I'm just saying that words matter, and we need to hold ourselves to the highest standard. No matter what source I'm reading, when I see hyperbole, I immediately begin to distrust the source.

Mr. Biden's actions in releasing frozen funds to Iran and un-designating the Houthis as terrorists are consistent with everything his administration does. They believe you can buy love and concomitantly votes, e.g. forgiving student loans, disregarding the law with respect to illegal aliens (they'll eventually have children who will be born here and vote for democrats out of gratitude). The list goes on.

I rarely agree with Donald Trump's absolutes, but Joe Biden is hands down, the worst President in American history and the most dangerous.

What we need, but will not get, is bold, clear policies and actions.

I am not in the re-elect Trump camp. I am firmly against re-electing Trump. Even out of office he has demonstrated a lack of candor, and an extreme lack of the ability to control himself. I believe he is bad for the country. That said it is the actions of the Biden administration that would make me consider voting, not for Trump but against Biden. Trump did not lose to Biden. Trump lost to himself through his own lack of ability to control his mouth. Biden is looking like the fool who will lose to himself due to actions of whoever is heading the group that is actually running the country. Susan Rice, Jennifer Granholm, Jake Sullivan and a group of elitist academics with a clear lack of common sense and the inability to learn from their actions. They have vision of the world and damn if they will let facts and real world events get in the way of their Nirvana. It is their actions and lack of actions that would drive me to vote against Biden even if that means pulling the lever for the other guy.

Would someone please give a big assist to Nikki Haley!!!

No, Haley would become Big Sister with more endless wars and 1984 controls.

Thinking of how much Mike Pence did to help President Trump with reasonable policies, I would pray Haley could serve the same role. Maybe bring SecState Pompeo back?

Thanks for the concise summary. Meanwhile, Iran is just a few weeks away from capability to produce a nuclear weapon. What else could go wrong? (btw, is this a typo in your post: " The Houthi began firing Iranian supplied missiles at Iran ..." ?)
