Jill Biden and the Tacos
Democrats have a significant problem with Hispanic voters that Jill Biden’s taco gaffe simply reinforced. When Hillary Clinton ran for President, Democrats couldn’t figure out why Hispanics across the country supported her at lower rates than previous presidents. When Donald Trump won more of the Hispanic vote than expected in 2016 and again in 2020, Democrats justified it because Hispanics come from countries with strong-man style leaders. Democrats are unable to treat Hispanic as anything other than a special interest group instead of treating them as Americans. Take a moment and listen:
At least Joe has an excuse when he flubs, dementia is a horrible disease. Jill has no excuse but she did make it crystal clear, she's part of the elite class and we're not. I guarandamtee you she thinks everyone outside her elite circle is nothing more than a taco.
Everyone is a "special interest group" to democrats, and they are that special interest. They don't care one bit about the lives of the people who vote for them, only that they do vote for them. It is a problem with establishment politicians in general. Upholding the law, securing freedom for the people, their oaths of office are all meaningless to them. The Hoi Polloi are only useful so far as they do as they are told and do not question their betters.
