Joe Biden and the Democrats are using Vladimir Putin’s war as a convenient excuse to cover for their stated goal — high gas prices to force you, against your will, to transition to electric vehicles.
Exactly correct - picking winners and losers by weaponizing economic factors such as supply and demand. Homage must be paid to the Environmental lobby regardless of impact on rank-and-file Americans.
BHO did similar economic manipulation with the "cash for clunkers" program, forcing the market for used car parts to skyrocket, thereby making new(er) car purchases required to remain mobile. This was in pursuit of elimination of "dirty" cars for the Enviro lobby as well as "stimulating the economy" by artificially pushing one of the actual measurements used in economic health determination forward. As expected it was a short blip (~6-9 mos. as I recall) before things returned to status quo economically.

By the numbers - 1 MW of solar power take 15 acres of land. Replacing a 10MW nuclear reactor is 150 acres ( .25 sq mi).
When you put up large solar panel fields. Nothing grows underneath. No grass, No feed stuffs, not tomato's, nothing (the panels block the sun). I thought killing the plants that absorb the CO2 was bad for the environment as well.
And if I’m not mistaken, when Trump called him on this during one of the debates, Biden backed off and lied. This man is a career serial liar and racist. His career was built on being a shill for banks incorporated in DE. He is corrupt. His family’s a corrupt hot mess. He needs to go!

EV’s are worse for this country and the world in general. States are unable to meet current electric needs now. How can the electric grid possibly support a BILLION + electric cars, trucks, planes, homes etc??!! Lithium batteries are dangerous, costly, don’t last forever, cannot be recycled.
Wind farms are just as bad. Cost of maintaining them is exorbitant and those blades are NOT recyclable! Traveling the country; the majority of those wind farms are standing perfectly still. It takes wind!

Additionally, why aren't all corners of Congress and the media calling for a hearing into Biden's dealings with Iran? He and his administration are not only jeopardizing our national security, but Israel's, as well as our Arab allies in the region. I doubt the US voter will understand the Democrat and Biden policies as a problem. Enough voters are captured by the progressive left. No appreciable change will take place until there is a new president. The voters will not give the Republicans 60 votes in the Senate or dramatic majorities in the House.
Also, what if inflation is already set at 5% and will remain at 5% for the next 10 years unless we impose constraint on the money supply (higher interest rates and lower Fed purchases of Treasuries)? Does anyone really believe the American people will intentionally vote to limit the power of the Federal government? Are we willing to transfer all the BLM property to the states or private land owners? Auction off subsurface mineral rights?
No. we will continue along this on again off again political game of encouraging lower energy prices. The American voter will not get serious about the concept of liberty and American exceptionalism and thus we will let the progressive left push us further to the world of tyranny.
Their policies are killing the farmers and ranchers. Just how many electric tractors do you see. Thousands of products that you use every day are made from petroleum. Fertilizer is made from natural gas. No one seems to want to address the fact of where most of our electricity is generated from natural gas and coal. I could go on and on. Come on man. Biden and this administration is just so out of touch with the American people it makes my head explode.
