Sorry about the health issues at home Erick. Praying for all to recover.

I have to part ways with you on the issue of Dick Cheney. He and Bush did more damage to the Republican Party of anyone since Nixon. Aloof Establishment neoCons who started a costly and unnecessary war in Iraq. Shame on them for the biggest foreign policy blunder of my lifetime. And we are still paying the price. One of the consequences is the ongoing destabilization of the region with Saddam gone--thus giving Iran unchecked power to intimidate it's neighbors and develop nukes. Warmongers if you ask me.

A real journalist like Glenn Greenwald knows all about the true costs of that debacle.

One more comment. The irony of police officers being beaten with "Blue Lives Matter" flagpoles by an insane mob of Trump cultists; on the other hand: never before have I seen such concern from the progressive/liberal/leftist mainstream media for the health, safety and lives of cops. "People Are Insane".

Hasn’t Liz Cheney been voting with the Democrats for major spending bills we can’t afford? Hasn’t she supported massive socialist and welfare spending with no work requirement? Didn’t she bad mouth and oppose President Trump even though bis policies were good for America?

Records show that Liz Cheney voted with Trump 93 percent of the time—much more than Ms Stefanik did. Cheney is a conservative and patriot with a conscience. In my opinion, she cares more about our country than she does about one man who is leading the Republican Party down the wrong path.

The only reason Liz Cheney serves in Congress is because her family got her the job..

In May 2021, in response to her reckless disloyalty to the party, House Republicans voted to remove Liz Cheney as chair of the House Republican Conference.

In 11/2021, the Wyoming GOP censured Liz Cheney, and no longer recognize her as a member of the Republican Party.

Cheney is a traitor who only wants to cash in on her family's name and on her opposition to Trump in order to run for President in 2024. If she runs, let her run as

a Democrat.

If you have a problem with President Trump, try comparingTrump's policies

to those of the Democrats under Joe Biden. For example, the problems on the southern border were almost solved with the wall, tough enforcement and his "Stay in Mexico Policies". Now Biden has flooded the country in 2 million illegals, many are criminals. And the plan is to let them vote even though they are not citizens.

Also, try comparing Trump's policies on any issue to current Democrat leadership. Look at crime, inner-city policing and sentencing, cancelling the filibuster, managing supply chains, Afghanistan, China, heating and gas prices, education, CRT, the list is endless. On all of these issues our country was far better off under Trump!

Liz Cheney is no patriot!

Thank you for giving me the courage to stand up for my convictions re DJT. But I comment not about him or Dick Cheney. I don't think anyone is listening to Kackling Kamala anyway. She is irrelevant and out of touch. Like when she tweeted boastfully this week about how American is moving again as thousands were marooned on I95 and in airports.

Despite her conservative credentials, which I agree with, Liz has made a probably made a political career ending mistake supporting this sham committee. She was not appointed by party and therefore is not the “ranking member” as she claims. She is being now used by the Democrats to support their radical of voting process changes despite her disagreement with them on those matters. It is not her job to punish DJT’s character flaws (which are many) at he expense of aiding and abetting the opposition.

Dick Cheney rocks. But really, he was just there defending his daughter. A great father. Still, he know Democrats hated him yesterday, and will hate him tomorrow.

When I saw him walk in with his daughter, I said to my husband, what a great dad, supporting his baby girl!

I condemn the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. But, when I hear politicians, pundits and media constantly comparing it to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor I get infuriated! It is disrespectful to all that sacrificed and died on those 2 historic infamous days. The fact that many Americans are embracing these comparisons is disgusting.

Take care of your health. Try to work less and relax more.

I think it was Dick Morris who mentioned this months ago. In 2016 the Republican candidate was supposed to be Jeb Bush. Then Trump decided to run. All the elite families were pissed at him for winning and actually doing a good job. All the complaints might be just sour grapes that the anointed one didn’t run.

Someone should do a search of all the apologies by the mainstream media in light of Cheney's participation in the events of January 6 yesterday. It shouldn't take very long.

The few elected GOP officials who stand up to the mob of the cult leader who incited violence in our Capitol in order to stay in power should be admired. Instead they're ruthlessly attacked and primaried while slimy power-hungry weasels like Kevin McCarthy look forward to more power by burying any level of integrity they might have ever had.

If it had been a Hillary-inspired mob that did the same thing as the Trump mob in Jan. 2016, the right would have gone ballistic, and rightfully so. Does truth really matter to ANYONE anymore?

And as far as VP Harris in concerned, I'm praying for Joe Biden's health.

I have enjoyed your thoughtful writing and broadcasts but you just lost me on Dick Cheney. He was a terrible Vice President who pushed war in Iraq which cost so much blood and treasure while damaging the global view of the USA. I have no problem with him supporting his daughter but my goodness he caused so much damage to our country.

I agree with you regarding the Iraq war. I too supported that effort. I was wrong. But Dick Cheney deserves some praise for yesterday.
