The Trump ad with the b-roll of Laken Riley and UGA is a great move. Lots of GA moms have daughters at UGA.

Thanks for sharing the video portion about the window washer. I felt your pain. Listening to you describe it creeped me out!

During your upcoming gathering when you will have so many notable Republican leaders present you and they will be able to convince the party and Trump to create ads showcasing the ineptness of the Dems VP choice, and encourage top donors of this party to stop sabotaging themselves. What the heck???!!!

I'm not going to attend The Gathering as it requires identification details that I don't want to give. I'm going to leave some questions here for anyone that is attending in case they share any of my concerns and would be willing to raise them at the conference.

Pence: Can you elaborate on What Trump asked you to do after the 2020 election? Does he seem to care about violating the constitution? How would you advise Vance to walk the line of loyalty to Trump and the constitution?

Kemp / Ducey / any governors from swing states:

If Trump loses your state there will be accusations of fraud and immense pressure for you and your secretary of state to intervene on his behalf - have you considered what you will do in this circumstance? How can you maintain political aspirations while offending so many republicans in your state by not intervening on Trump's behalf? Kemp - did this before but it will be trickier this time as Trump's popularity among Repubs post assassination attempt has skyrocketed and he will not have the advantage of incumbency in the upcoming senate primary this time.

Johnson and all members of Congress:

If Trump loses he will claim that it was rigged and demand that no repub votes to certify - how can repubs vote to certify in spite of this pressure? or if not voting to certify is it not a dangerous precedent for all (or the vast majority) of a party to vote against certifying the winner of a presidential election? how is this not a dangerous precedent?

Have you considered what hill you are willing to die on politically to stand up for the constitution? If Trump attempts to violate the constitution again during his next term are you willing to lose a leadership position / be primaried to defend it?

Great questions!

I got a few counter questions. If Kamala loses and the polls show that she loses now and claims cheating, how will you counter, her and the democrats? What will you do with the massive democrat violence and riot if Trump wins? If Kamala loses, she will claim that it was rigged just like Trump How can democrats vote to certify in spite of this pressure?

Actually let's just put Kamala into every one of your questions because she is going to be just bad as Trump. And worst the democrats will riot and burn things down. You cant ask about one without asking about the other. It is a close race but as Trump defines Harris which he does have a video on his website just release in the last couple of days, she will go down in the polling. No one wants a left of Bernie Sanders president in control of the country.

BigChez....ignore and it will eventually go away...Listen to what Erick just spoke about...People stuck on Jan.6 should just stay on Jan 6...it's crazy town for some.

The Gathering does not have dems to ask these questions to so I do not see the relevance of your questions.

Also - Kamala will concede when she loses. She accepts defeat hence why she dropped out the dem primary in 2020. Trump has never accepted defeat and claimed that Ted Cruz cheated in Iowa in 2016.

Dems understand that Trump is likely to win and I do not foresee the types of riots that you speak of. Kamala won't demand them in the same way Trump would if he loses.

That’s funny. You were never going anyway.

I was intending to. The opportunity for me to troll a group like this hard to pass up, but only if I could have done it anonymously.

It seems as though Erick may have gotten Vance or Trump to attend considering all of this secrecy / security and his cryptic messages.

Vance maybe but Eric has already given his reasoning in years past for not inviting Trump.

Trump has a defining Kamala Harris Video on his youtube channel. I do not understand why he is not airing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9_WHRFLDsM

unless you live in a swing state you likely aren't seeing these ads. I have homes in PA and Alabama and we aren't seeing anything down here in Alabama because this state will go for Trump without question, so they won't waste the $ on them here.

That’s a great ad. I hope they use it. I don’t have a ton of hope though

Another news flash about Kamala's appearance in Atlanta. The local news stations have talked about her appearance for the last 4 days with NO information about the event. It was only this morning that they said that Megan would be appearing at the "ticketed" event. But the location or time or the airport Kamala would use were not mentioned. Someone needs to tell Kamala that she will need people from all walks of life to vote for her if she wants to win.

Expand full comment

I don’t know about that. I hear so many AA saying they will support her and the ticket simply because she’s Black. Doesn’t matter what are her policy positions.

By the way, I have no idea when Roland Martin joined her staff (if he has) but he’s promoting racism like the crazy person he is. (That’s a little off topic).

News flash. Why not somehow let the electorate know that Kamala is coming to Atlanta this week with special guest Megan Thee Stallion, whose claim to fame is the song Wet A** Pus*y. Not only is that incredibly offensive to most it’s indicative of the decline in morality of the left. Talk about “WIERD”…

If the republicans ran an ad on everything Harris did wrong on a daily basis they would have to run 1000 ads on live stream.

Expand full comment

Everyone is in panic mode over nothing. The polls are wrong. This is just like Hillary 2016 except she’s black.

There is no magic daisy chain ad that will suddenly make one side or the other the leader.

Relax people.

Fretting about something that is still 2 months away is not helping.

Expand full comment

the polls have tightened and I believe they are correct. They were close before Biden's infirmity started to be impossible to ignore and then Trump opened up a lead, but with a new Dem candidate in place who at least has a pulse and can campaign, the polling is back where it was. 2016 and 2020 were close races decided by roughly 30K votes in swing states and this race in 2024 will be no different.

The people who need to see those ads won’t see those ads. Because the media will make sure of it.

Why oh why do we continue to shoot ourself in the foot. Please Pennsylvania Republican Party contact the RNC and let’s get this campaign on the positive tract. We so need to win this election.

I'm sure they all know who's doing what. Whether the people at the top can take advice from others not in the inner circle, learn and apply it is another question entirely. Don't forget, Trump backed Oz over McCormick last time. I'm sure McCormick hasn't forgotten.

Don’t listen to the doom and gloomers. The media wants you to believe Harris is inevitable. It’s not true.

Hope so

I agree with you. However, the Republicans are up to their old tricks - stick foot out and shoot it…. Almost every election.

Expand full comment

I honestly don’t believe that is true. I think like walker it’s the media making stuff up and posting lies.

Harris support is not as widespread as the media is making it out. When my super liberal family member says she is not voting. That means something.

When I’m reading on liberal media websites commenters mocking her left and right.

That means something. Don’t fall for the media jumping leg fest.

The polls haven’t shifted much if at all. A tie in Wisconsin was basically what we saw 2-3 months ago with Biden.

A Republican candidate hasn’t lead a national poll this late in the contest since bush 2004.

A tight race in the polls means a Trump win. He always outperforms polls. Always.

Let’s hope!

Expand full comment

Let's not look at polls. In the eight presidential elections since 1992, among GOP candidates, only Bush2 in his 2004 re-election bid was able to get more votes than their Democratic opponents. Trump himself lost both his election bids. He only won the Presidency because of the Electoral College where in some close races, the will of the states overpowers the will of the people. And the GOP thinks it has a sure winner in a two-time loser??? In the past the GOP has dumped losers like that. Yes, traditions and strings like this are for the breaking, so we shall see.

Expand full comment

'the will of the states overpowers the will of the people''?? Are there not PEOPLE in those states? As I'm sure you know, the popular vote is meaningless in our Constitution, for good reason. Hopefully they're still teaching WHY we have the EC in civics classes, but I see less and less evidence of that when I see statements like this.

The only thing that matters is the Electoral College and in tight races swing states are more crucial than they would ordinarily be.

Expand full comment

And dems think they have it in the bag with a super liberal Biden cronie?

Funny you bring up 2016. Trump won that despite the issues he faced.

2024 is not 2020. It’s not a given for the Dems at all. She may have gotten the Dems closer but they are still behind.

Expand full comment

I hope you're correct. Trump is up against a different candidate than a month ago. There are many voters who will vote on demographics and not issues; let's hope they are not the majority.

I don’t know why this is so hard for Republicans. The ads I’m seeing in Atlanta might as well have been recycled from the 2020 election with the them screaming “liberal” from the rooftops. Show her saying these radical things, just like the McCormick ads.

Expand full comment

I agree. So far all I see from the Trump campaign is calling people names, insulting comments, and calling people liberal. Might make the base happy but if they can’t do better they will lose moderates and independents just like 2020. It seems like Vance is no better at controlling his mouth than Trump is. If this is the way the Trump campaign is going I am seriously worried.

Expand full comment

I agree. Donald Trump and J.D. Vance are trying to explain J.D. Vance's "cat woman" Comments. I heard somewhere that in politics if you are having to explain yourself, you are losing.

Former President Trump's campaign better get "their" act together or he will lose the election in a big way. I have also read that Georgia is a swing state and in several surveys leaning Democrat

yep, if you're playing defense, as they are in defending Vance's cat lady comment, well you're already losing.

Vance was my least-preferred VP candidate as he's too much like Trump (and I'm no huge Trump fan either but we're stuck with him). Both of them could benefit from wearing muzzles often.

It is interesting and frightening that leftist radicals think they are main stream. They think that moderates and those on the right are the radicals. What a crazy, mixed-up world we are in today.
