Well to the chagrin and chapping of you Atlanta gathers, it will be DT unless he has big health issues to arise, then it would leave DeSantis. By late August there could be a Big Crow Eating Buffets being prepared for all the self anointed Sacro scants.

I’m a member of a conservative coffee club where we get together and bitch and whine. When I first started going Trump walked on water and healed the sick now as he keeps opening his mouth and takes cheap shots at his rivals some of the luster has worn off and the coffee drinkers are seeing this and starting to look at DJT and see it’s about him not the country. It’s time to move on I want a win and I’m tired of whiners even a coffee club

Looking forward to the event and definitely booking a room when they’re available!

If Trump’s base would listen to some of the things he’s saying they might have second thoughts. The key word there is listen but right now it’s a kind of worship and adoration that should make people very uncomfortable, especially Christians. Praying God will open eyes and ears.

Trump and Madonna, both has-beens trying to stay relevant. Trump by proving himself a boob, Madonna just by showing hers.

My wife and I would like to attend in August. How do we get tickets?

Thanks!

Erick,

It was two things that got me to register for your show notes. Your Gravy recipe and this event. Got my tickets. Will book a room once you post the link.

Cheers

I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 because I was leery of his supposed conversion to Conservatism. I was pleasantly surprised by his governing in his first term and did vote for him in 2020.

That said, his current comments are showing a decided move leftward. Perhaps this is only to garner votes from the moderately left of center but it is unlikely to bring in many right-of-way center folks to his side.

It is not surprising that DJT has moved toward the left in his focus. He thinks he has strong support of the far right (his "base" from the past) and that is true, for now. But, his values are (1) make himself out to be the best at whatever he is doing and (2) prove that he did not causes losses in two midterms and in 2020 - in that order. Cruz was right, in 2016, when he said DJT did not have conservative values. He co-opted conservative values when he ran and the first three years of his presidency. That approach paid off "yuge" dividends for himself and for the country. But, he has moved to the left on the issues of alternative lifestyles, abortion, responses to the pandemic (though, at the time, no one really knew what the best path was) and, now, entitlement reform.

It is like he is proving himself to be the best at one thing - pandering to get what he wants (see points 1 and 2 above).

If this open to the public? Where do I find additional information?

It was open to the public when he first announced it, but unfortunately, it's now sold out. He initially reserved a block of tickets for "pre sale" but blew out those numbers the first few hours and had to up the block size. Thats when I got my tickets. If he can get more slots, he would likely announce them here and you should expect them to go in a flash (so stay tuned).

Cheers
