I listened with disgust last night as Sean Hannity did a commentary on Stacy Abrams and took the opportunity to say that Kemp was a sham and a “do nothing” Governor. He is f so o deep inside the Trump pocket that he doesn’t want to consider the truth of Kemps record. I’ll admit to being really upset that he chose the wrong appointee for Senate and paved the way for one of our current Democratic Senators, but I have been proud and supportive of everything he has done since. He’s been tough and right on many things and he deserves as second term. Hannity, of course, has history here that he believes makes him an expert on all things Georgia. He couldn’t be more wrong. We’re going to hear more of this unfounded bashing of Gov. Kemp as the days go by. At least from Mr Hannity.

I mostly agree.

I never had a problem with Kelly. I think Doug Collins participation had a lot to do with the outcome, I think Kelly would have won outright if not for Doug.

However, it was Trumpers who did not vote in the runoff that gave the seat to Warnock.

If the GA Republican party screws up Kemp's reelection bid and we get Abrams it will be unforgivable.

Hannity’s remarks last night were indeed disgusting. Even though he hasn’t lived in Georgia for probably twenty years, he still portrays himself as being an expert on the state. Kemp has been such an effective governor, and he has been a strong leader in doing what he thinks is best for Georgia. When Trump lost the election in Georgia, he almost immediately blamed Kemp because he needed a scapegoat, and Hannity and other Trump sycophants immediately started denouncing Kemp. Trump is so bent on revenge that he is determined to make sure Kemp’s political career is destroyed. He is doing this with all Republicans who have not paid appropriate obeisance to him in his mind. I’m thankful Kemp had the integrity and the courage to not break Georgia laws and do what Trump wanted him to do. Trump has destroyed the Republican Party in Georgia, and he truly doesn’t care if our next governor is Stacey Abrams. He only seeks vengeance for the imagined wrongs that Kemp and others have allegedly done.

True all that!

I heard Hannity, too and it shocked me. Definitely didn’t agree with Shaun and I thought his comments were out of place, even though he is a commentator.

That’s one of my biggest problems with President Trump. He worked well with McConnell to get in a bunch of conservative federal judges, then trashes McConnell after collaborating so well. You work with the team you have. Kemp is not a Trump partisan and I’m glad about that, though I supported President Trump in both his runs. But Trump has to get this: It is not about him! Our country is at stake. The best people to advance conservative causes are what we need, desperately. The liberals need it, too, they just don’t know it.

Look at VA. Regardless of media spin, Youngkin won because Trump voters in came out. Trump voters won’t come out for Kemp in GA. It’s that simple. Kemp has done nothing to address what went on in Fulton County. If he at least made some type of effort, he’d have some degree of support. He barely beat Abrams last run. He’s pissed off 75 million plus Trump voters. Many of whom live in GA. He can’t win without them. That’s a fact. Unless something dramatic happens between now and November, Gov Abrams it is. Much to my chagrin…

Youngkin studiously avoided campaigning with Trump. He graciously accepted Trump’s endorsement but clearly avoided linking his campaign to Trump.

That doesn’t mean Trump voters didn’t come out. If they hadn’t Youngkin loses. It was the overwhelming turn out in red counties that won for Youngkin. Given all the Louden County noise, Youngkin still lost Loudon. He also lost Arlington County, Fairfax County and Prince William County. If not for Trump voters voting on issues of real importance, Youngkin loses.

I was a Trump voter. I reject the pipe dream of our former president and others who live in the ether with him that the Georgia election was stolen. There were irregularities but none that intervention by Kemp would have corrected to make a difference. I hope more people will look beyond their hard headed notions about Trump and vote for whatever Republican makes it to the home stretch on Election Day.

At some point - like fake Russia collusion and many others - the truth comes out…

Well none of that really matters now does it? It’s in the past. I’m not willing to I’ve up our state to someone like Abrams. And I hope you won’t sit home if the Republican candidate is not one you think is Trumpian enough. If you do you’ll be part of handing Georgia over to another candidate who says the election was stolen from HER. Where does it end?

I don’t live in GA, but I’m done with feckless country club Republicans. Some are worse than Dems because they say one thing to get elected than cave to big donor money and Wall Street. They’re despicable. The Romney’s, McConnells, etc., think they’re great deal makers. They’re not. They get played time and again as evidenced by their fiscal behaviors over the past few months. They need to get swept out once and for all!

Since Sonny Purdue was elected, I've seen the Georgia economy grow and continue to grow...with Sonny, then Nathan Deal, now Governor Kemp.

The Republican infighting over Donald Trump cost us two Senate seats...and because of the loss of those seats, we've had so much more to deal with than we would have otherwise.

I'm going to vote for Kemp again, regardless of what Donald Trump thinks about it...I just hope every sane Georgian realizes that "punishing" people because of their feelings about the 2020 election is only helping people like Abrams seize control...and will put us back in the struggling economy we had for decades here.

Erick please let us know if Stacy ever paid her State taxes. Last time she ran she hadn’t paid them as per her words she used that money to help out her parents. I didn’t know not paying taxes was an option! Certainly she has enough Dem money to pay her taxes by now!

Trump has already all but endorsed Stacy Abrams. As well as turning both GA Senate seats over to the Dems. With so many "Republicans" still worshiping The Stable Genius, how do you overcome that?

I’ll be watching from the sidelines to see if Trump can do for Kemp what he did for David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler
