On Tuesday night in Kansas, a bipartisan group of voters overwhelmingly rejected an amendment to the state constitution that would strip abortion protections from that state’s constitution. The Democratic Party and the Democrats’ propaganda arm known as the American political press were giddy. It was, in their estimation, a triumphant display of democracy.
It will be additional proof that the Founders knew what they were doing if the left’s electoral game playing blows up in their faces, and all those “ultra-MAGA” Republican candidates get elected. After all, we may then never hear from “The Squad “ or Liz Warren (or Liz Chaney, for that matter) again.
The Kansas vote is in fact proof that what the Founders gave us works just fine, and needs no “fixes” from either the Alex Joneses of this world on the right or the Marxist radicals on the left.
Our system was designed with many safeguards to prevent any one branch of government from gaining dictatorial power over the other two, so long as the other two and we citizens do our due diligence and move to prevent such a thing from happening. If Kansans want to keep access to abortion, then they will; if we Hoosiers wish to have strong protection of the preborn, then Indiana will have it. That is, after all, what the Dobbs decision calls for.
The less said about Alex Jones the better. The man is an abomination and deserves everything he gets.
I can understand why Trump did not support Meijer. The impeachment hearings were additional examples of the "Kabuki" theatre the democrats perform to cause havoc and distraction. They did it to hurt Trump's presidency. Whatever, you think of Trump, the hearings were a major hindrance to his ability to perform the duties of President. A weakened administration hurts U.S. citizens. It also was a waste of taxpayer dollars. If I was Trump, I would not piss on the likes of Meijer, Romney, and Kinzinger if they were on fire. That being said, I personally appreciate Meijer's actions in Afghanistan.
You put it in much better language than I could have. Republicans that voted for impeachment should be thrown out of congress in my humble opinion. It was pure theatre on the part of the Democrats. Impeachment is serious business. It is in the constitution for a reason to handle elected officials that have comitted high crimes that would hurt our country. It should not be used to attach the other side. Just my 2 cents.
Why has Maricopa County not finished counting the gubernatorial primary (R)? Incompetence like this is why an increasing number of Americans on both sides think significant fraud is a possibility. Incompetence doesn’t help sell the idea of safe and secure elections. Count the votes. One day. Win or lose, with appropriate oversight, and it’s done.
When you have a fair and honest election, people will accept the result. There were too many stories of ballot stuffing that were never addressed. Even during the election, Biden appeared to be getting more senile every appearance. Look at him on you tube from a few years ago. Different person.
Don't know if Kansas proved that democracy is fine but it did prove that republicans are consistent in one area. They have the innate ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Until Maxwell's list is published everyone on the flight log is suspect.

Agreed. Our “betters” have proven to be nothing but self-serving “lessers”. We need a total house cleaning.
