There are enough loons in CA that I didn't think a recall would happen, but your staying on message point makes sense, it did become an issue of who will take over vs recall the clown.

Re: General “Thoroughly Modern” Milley (so named because treasonous behavior is so in vogue these days): It won’t be easy, but somehow, someone in Congress must expose this behavior if in fact Bob Woodward’s story is true. And the quickest way to do this is to force Mr. Woodward to reveal his sources; national security takes precedence over journalistic rights.
In the short term, Milley’s security clearance must be suspended pending a full investigation. This would also allow him to be temporarily relieved of his duties as JCS Chair until said investigation is completed. And if Milley doesn’t like it, then let him resign. The possibility of his warning China of any action we may take in the event of Chinese military action against Taiwan, for example, is too serious a possibility to do otherwise.
Candidates need to learn the art of "The Pivot," If Elder had answered every question not related to the issues with, "This isn't about me, it's about Newsom's failure to..." whatever, he'd have had a better chance.
As I said in an earlier post, since California refuses to vote for change....they deserve to live in a s-hole. They can pound sand and enjoy their woke dystopian future.
If the excerpts from Woodward's book are true, then yes General Milley should resign. Not just him, but every officer that supported his actions as well. Precedence's matter. I just hope for the country that these allegations are false.
As far as the Democrats' over reaching, we will have 4 more years of this till Biden is voted out of office.
I don't know him and haven't bothered to try to get to know him other than he is a conservative talk show host. But, you have to consider what his objective may have been. Maybe he really thought he could do a better job than Newsome (and probably could have). Maybe he really wanted to be the governor and failed to do what Mr. Erickson suggests he should have done.
But, maybe, he was just as happy to get this exposure and grow his audience.
I don't know what his motivations were. It appears he probably should have stuck to why Newsome should leave knowing that he was the default winner out of the others in the pack of candidates.
Resign??? RESIGN??? The fact that it has been discovered that he was giving aid to China, in fact TELLING his Chinese counterpart, that he will inform them of Donald Trump's "first strike" command, and any moves against them?
He should immediately be arrested, with charges of spying and espionage, not to mention the big one, treason!!!!
Will SOMEBODY grow some, and put the handcuffs on him?? And make him give the names of everybody else involved with China?? NOW!!
It's very apparent we can't have "woke" Communists in the pentagon! Weakness shown is inviting war from those countries who despise us!!
