People, as Americans, went to church together, comforted each other, prayed together, etc.

What the left really doesn’t want to discuss, and which it tries to keep hidden, is that a large number of the unvaccinated are black and Hispanic, who, due to historical misuse of medical treatments against them for clearly racist purposes, for reasons which are not legitimate today a definite distrust of medicine in general. Whether or not it’s justified, the distrust is there, and it’s borne out by the low vaccination percentages in both groups, which no amount of persuasion has been able to increase. The Bidenauts, I’m sure, took that into consideration when deciding to impose a mandate on businesses rather than individual employees.
It is at best disingenuous, and at worst fraudulent, to ignore this reality and instead choose to make a blanket condemnation of “the unvaccinated”. However, in an Administration which must in order to survive live by its lies, no one should be surprised, just as no one should be surprised that most people automatically discount what it says as false.
Erick did you know that the vast majority of the "unvaccinated" consists of those who have already had Covid? I think that the number is around 100,000,000 people. These folks have far better immunity (according to a study of 700,000 Israelis) than anyone who has risked taking the PMJ jab. Biden doesn't talk about those of us in this group; Fauci was asked about our group on one of the MSM stations the other night and seemed surprised by the question "We haven't thought much about this"; and you don't seem to think much about it either. Most physicians who have thought about it have come to the conclusion that since the vaccine adds nothing (and may even detract some immunity) and comes at some risk itself that it is simply not recommended to those of us who are lucky enough to have survived Covid and now have durable immunity.

As someone else mentioned, I suspect you are biased because you and your wife are at risk because of your pre-existing conditions. How about posting something positive about the rona studies, like the Kaiser study that just came out of all places California, showing that even if you're in an at risk category 70+ years old with pre-existing conditions, weight lifting and aerobics can reduce your chances of contracting the rona by as much as 250%. Or how about the gout med that was shown to reduce active symptoms from 2 weeks to 3 days. There are tons more examples but Oh no precious, I can't do that, the syndicating overlords will smite me.
I didn't see any specific data cited by McNeil for the 99%. Are you positive, Erick, that this is accurate, especially since he is a journalist rather than a researcher or doctor. My review of these claims is that they either start from when COVID started in early 2020 or even January of 2021. In both cases there was little if any vaccine coverage. So, stating 99% is pretty obvious since there was no vaccine. If the data starts then, it is not only meaningless but misleading. Please find some sources that show the percentage of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated that have died from COVID since July 1st to be accurate. I hope you review these comments.

My conservative friends shared all the stories of the heroism of 9/11, and, as it always does, the story of Todd Beamer's last words on Flight 93 brought me to tears.
A friend from New York shared her story, again, of the day first responders in the NYPD saved her life that day, helping her to safety, before heading back into the building, only to have some young, arrogant, entitled...person...tell her that it was "because you was white, (expletive) they let black people burn that day".
Then I read a post from another Facebook friend of mine, someone I share a common interest in horses with, someone I have long liked and admired, that Biden's re-election chances were looking better and better, because "hopefully" many conservatives would die from Covid in "red states" that resisted the mandate.
I civilly expressed my disappointment with his post, reminding him that when NYC was the epicenter of the disease, people from "red states" volunteered with Samaritan's Purse, with no vaccine available, and came to NYC to try and help and were treated shamefully...and I am now blocked from his page, apparently, I can see that he replied to me, but Facebook says I can't view the reply.
At that point, I just...gave up. We have forgotten what it's like to be "Americans".
The CDC stopped tracking COVID infections in the vaccinated in May. How can we be sure they are accurately reporting those deaths? And in Israel right now, 60% of the COVID hospitalizations are the fully vaccinated. What happens here when vaccine immunity wears off and hospitals fill up with the vaccinated? How will you spin the "vaccines work" narrative then? Finally, natural immunity saves lives too. It has saved millions more lives than the vaccines.
