The USA military can view Iran’s buildup of their forces and blowup their military once again.

Donald should finish what he started with Iran! Other wise it will just embolden the the Mullahs. They think we are weak and that Mr trump is afraid of the Democrats. In some ways this is a religious war. The Mullahs believe that destruction will bring the end of the world and reward

for Mohammad followers. They will do what ever it takes to bring this about. They cannot be

trusted to keep peace. Dan.

I don’t think that there is an idea to be had.

Just a list of wishes.

The number one wish is

FINISH THE JOB!

Inflation was already out of control from Biden and the war isn’t fueling the increase as much as COVID money now coming home to roost. We need to pound Iran into submission or we will have terrorist attacks in the USA in the future. But, too many weak knees crybabies in this country.

yep. What a nightmare. I guess the TACO people have a point.

Unfortunately I couldn't agree more. We can't believe his predictions or his promises. He is buying his own bullshit as one of my mentors used to say.

This is a little off topic, but I think worth mentioning.

We need to be careful not to repeat the mistakes that were made during WWII when the Japanese Americans were put into containment camps. That action was wrong then and it would be wrong now.

The legal immigrants from Iran who are now Americans should not be locked away behind barbed wire. The illegal immigrants should be put in a position to acquire citizenship or deported according to their situation.

The known criminals should be deported period.

Bob, I agree with most of your comments. The only one I would disagree with is the illegal Iranian immigrants as well as other illegals immigrants. The Biden administration skipped vetting of million of them, and so I don't believe they should be offered citizenship, but deported back to their home countries. We have an Islam problem in America now. Why should America accept that these people come here and then turn around to make our country into the countries they left? Chip Roy and Brandan Gill seem to be the only reps very concerned with this sharia push vs. our Constitution. I fear for the world my grandchildren are growing up in. Thanks for writing.

Yes ma’am I think you’re right.

I stand corrected.

I’m in the camp that the Obama/Kerry treaty was crap and was glad that in Trump’s first term he scrapped it. So then Trump and Israel bombed or so they said their nuclear bomb making capability to oblivion. Then we went to war. We had Iran on the run, all we had to do was finish the job. The way I see it is we have to start all over. Where is Israel in all of this? Where is our defense budget, billions spent for what? What a blown opportunity. That’s all I have to say.

On the positive side, so far at least nobody has posted any foolish claims of Trump's alleged genius or deific ability to play four-dimensional chess like they did when he nuked the economy by imposing progressively more tariffs on us, or tried to bully the Fed into inflating the money supply even more than the $7 trillion they've pumped into the banking system since 2007 in a vain Keynesian attempt too trick the economy into real growth.

On the negative side, it would really have been nice if Trump had actually known what he was doing, and taken out the jihadist regime. Now he just appears to be repeating Nixon's strategic blunder of losing at the bargaining table after winning militarily.

100% the Iranian "leadership" cannot be trusted! Anyone who negotiates with people who are brutal, ruthless, murderers will always find themselves confronting duplicity never to be resolved. Never. I can only hope this long pause was to give our military an opportunity for our manufacturing to catch-up, or for something else to take place behind the scenes. If not, then go in there and finish what you started. Finish the job!

Just admit it, Trump has utterly failed.

Trump was never willing to destroy the IRCG whatever it costs. And if he was not prepard to do that he should never have started.

It only affirms that Trump is a reckless opportunist, with no real capacity for genuine strategic thinking.

By alienating every logical ally to obliterate the IRCG via mindless tariffs, glib comments on annexation, and total moral failure in respect of Ukraine, Trump has made his unique falilure.

This may end with a more emboldened Iran from Trump's lack of resolution.

Pathetic.

Believe we have enough Islamists in our country now who wish to take over here or kill us. They need to be deported to somewhere in the Mideast and Trump needs to take the mullahs out. I don't care how it looks for his polls, but think it's worse with the ceasefires, extended ceasefire during which they're rearming. They LIE - there will never be peace with Iran - finish it!!

Bob P.'s avatar

Nancy your comments got me to thinking, and I agree that we should finish the job in Iran the people in charge right now will never change, they need to be gone. I would leave it up to our professional military leaders to know the best way to achieve that goal.

My thoughts are seven comments up from yours if you care to read it. Thank you for your thoughts.

My question is how many Iranians are with us and how many are against us most living in this country want the mullahs out but in the country I wonder how many if over 50 or 60% . If so then let’s have regime change which means boots on the ground and get this over with so we are not looking over our shoulder wondering what they are going to pull next when we aren’t looking.

Talk about a case of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I'm thoroughly disgusted with his handling of this; and all on the cusp of our 250th year anniversary.
