I agree with your article.

I think if the Republicans get Barrett through the nomination (quickly), it will become a non-issue in the election. Those people who are *against* it being done right now will let it go, as it will become a non-issue once she's on the bench, and since the media so quickly move on to other stories, this will become old news.

I believe the press might shortly discover that they have fallen into a very dark pit. When the press gives up any sort of balance and ceases to be a true watch dog warning of dangers and instead become the bull horn of one particular mind set, they will discover that they will become the fodder for that mind set. Truth is the first victim to go, when black or white is their choice and grays and colors disappear. I wonder how many reporters realize they will give an account for what they have done? And to someone they will not be able to SPIN what they did. They should be shaking in their boots, for neither mountain nor pile of rocks will hide them from that exposure. Sad times we live in.

Right now I am to the point where I cannot stomach ANYTHING that comes out of the mouths of the Democrats or their media hacks. They bring the art of hypocrisy to an all new level.

As Erick suggests, reasonableness in media-lingo means doing whatever the Democrats want. In media-lingo, divisiveness is the result of not doing whatever Democrats want. Consequently, in the eyes of the media, the nomination of Barrett and the rest of Trump's policies are divisive and unreasonable. It is simple to understand once you accept the meaning of reasonable and divisive used by the media in the Trump era.
